It was alright. I dunno, I'm just not into Ye lately. If I want to hear a rapper talk about some real shit (in this case, private prisons) I'll listen to someone else.

Like it a lot. I also think his marketing for it was awesome projecting the video onto buildings across the world. New album should be great.

So f***ing stoked for the new album. New Slaves and Black Skinhead are awesome. His SNL performance was insane. I hope the album isn't really called Yeezus though. That's lame as hell.

Haven't listened to the song, but the only New Slave out there is the guy that was dumb enough to knock up Kim K. Dat ass isn't worth all of that Kanye.

I don't know, if anything it's a logical extension of West's pomposity as a celebrity character that pervades his musical output. Why not claim to be Jesus? And there's a circularity to it given that Kanye really blew up huge with "Jesus Walks." |
