Any team giving Dwight Howard a max deal seems like a bad idea on so many levels. Between his attitude, disruption to team chemistry and penchant for getting coaches fired seems like too much of a hassle. Not to mention his health problems. Could potentially be another Amare in New York scenario.
I don't know, I get that it's a potentially high reward but the risk is extremely high at the same time.

ESPN's Chris Broussard says the Hawks could potentially try to acquire both Chris Paul and Dwight Howard in free agency.
With Josh Smith's contract expiring, the Hawks have enough cap room to offer two max deals
CP3 is reportedly upset with the Clippers right now after they threw him under the bus for the Vinny Del Negro firing.

I don't know what to think of Dwight Howard right now. I get that he struggled this year because of a combo of injuries and being on the Lakers. But if he's healthy next year and not on the Lakers, how good will he be? Great? Very good? A difference maker?

But if he's healthy next year and not on the Lakers, how good will he be? Great? Very good? A difference maker? Well, Dwight *struggled* this year but he was still very good. I think this is the new normal for him. Whatever his back problems did to him makes me think that '09 Dwight just isn't coming back. And if that's the case, he's someone you have to give a max contract to if you aren't one of the elite teams (or if you're Memphis or Indiana or Chicago, because you already have a better option at center) but you aren't gonna feel good about it. I'd rather have Omer Asik starting for me than roll the dice on whether or not Dwight will stay happy for an entire year.

After that shove, that was definitely a well-earned suspension. Really surprised he didn't get ejected. Even Stern thought he should've gotten a flagrant 2.

I still can't believe OKC traded Harden. They might be in the finals now if he's still on the team. They traded him because he wouldn't budge over just $2 million.

The Clippers are proving once more how stupid they are.
Too bad; they seemed to be on the turnaround to a great future, and then this went down. Oh well.

Good news is Mookie Blaylock's status has been updated from "critical" to "guarded, but stable".

Nate Robinson would welcome a return to the Knicks next year, according to his agent, Aaron Goodwin.
New Raptors GM Masai Ujiri's first order of business will be shopping Andrea Bargnani to the entire league in hopes of moving him before July 1, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

Wade and Bosh have given absolutely nothing and the Heat still lead at half time. If even one of them would have a hot quarter the Heat could end this. I have no idea how they're leading right now.
