The Stanley Cup Finals are gonna destroy the NBA Finals in 18-49 demographics if we have Pacers-Spurs. I have to be honest. I won't watch a single game of that series.

@starburymarbury I think the NBA will lose billions of dollars if there isn't a Spurs Heat Finals. I may be wrong but I'm thinking business now not b-ball!

I'll congratulate the fans of both teams we have here on the forum and I'll bow out for the season. Same as I did in 2005. I love basketball but not enough to watch 5-7 games between two teams I have no interest in watching play one another.

If, by the grace of God, Indiana wins game 7 and Miami struggles next season and LeBron hits the road and this Heat era wins one championship in four seasons, after LeBron promised seven championships, I'll die laughing.

@vgoodwill How fitting would it be if David Stern's last NBA Finals was Spurs/Pacers? It'd be a return to tape delay

@fisolanydn After watching Wade and Bosh in person, Grant Hill has decided to end his retirement. Same with Shaq and Kenny. Charles, though, is too old.

@vgoodwill How fitting would it be if David Stern's last NBA Finals was Spurs/Pacers? It'd be a return to tape delay David Stern is currently maniacally working on a press release explaining how every Pacers player "suddenly came down with food poisoning" and had no option but to award game 7 to Miami.

The Heat should play Miller from the start because unlike Bosh and Wade, he actually wants to be there.

This is really sad. I've never seen a player lose 'it' as suddenly as Wade has. Jake Delhomme says hi. Really solid, if not pretty damn good QB most of his career. Then all of a sudden he throws 5 picks in a playoff loss and he never recovered from that. What's worse is his Panthers the year he threw those 5 picks had one of the best records in the league and he had overall one of his better seasons until that game.

The Pacers are essentially Hibbert, West, the two Georges, and maybe Lance Stephenson if he's making shots.
Who said depth was needed to win basketball games?
