I think Overeem wins, but if he plays it too safe, he's gonna stay relegated to the free cards, he has to send a message to be relevant again. I would like to see one day before I die JDS vs Overeem Well it would be hard to not see why The Reem might play this one safe like he did with Mir because if Rothwell gets the upset with a brutal KO then he is never going to get a title shot.

If Rothwell gets the upset The Reem is heading to Bellator, I think even if he loses to a decision his ass is gone, Dana has been talking mad shit about the guy ever since the Mir fight. In my opinion Overeem was never the same after leaving Golden Glory, that team was tailor made for him, it revolved around him, he didn't had to share the spotlight there, watch his old sparring videos, he went 100% there.

Well looks like Thiago Silva is a free man as all charges against him have been dropped though both Bellator and WSOF have stated they are no interest in signing him.
Also Randy Couture has announce for the forthcoming season of dancing with the stars but since he going up against Carton Banks It seems like his chances are slim.

All charges were dropped because his ex-wife (or ex-GF, I don't remember) left the area, and possibly the country, so they chose not to pursue the case without the key witness. I can't see any North American MMA company giving him a shot.

Bisping vs. Rockhold in Australia and Shogun vs. Manuwa in Brazil both set for November. This is one of those days where I hate Fight Pass, or at least hate what UFC does with it. Bisping vs. Rockhold could be a great addition to a PPV and it's going to be on Fight Pass. I think it's a mistake that UFC puts fights and fighters people want to see on a subscription service that really only the hardcore audience has. Fighters like Gufstasson and Connor MacGregor shouldn't be fighting on Fight Pass, they should be on Fox or PPV where the general audience can watch.

Ya, just read that. I'm utterly speechless, unless they know something we don't.

Yeah, Dana proves himself once again to be a liar and a scumbag by bringing him back. They've finally given the state of New York a reason not to legalize them, not that the New York State Assembly actually cares about keeping women safe. They proves that a long time ago.

Well Dana White has also been inconsistent with it comes to shit like that as got some criticism for when he fired Will Chope for past domestic violence convictions yet did nothing about Abel Trujillo who has twice pleaded to domestic as well.

No matter where Silva goes, I'll still get confused between him and Thiago Alves.

Man, it'll be weird to see Struve have such a height advantage on Overeem. Like, I always think of him as being one of the bigger dudes, but Struve's got him beat for sure! Anyway, found this earlier, figured I'd post it here, pretty damn awesome:
