Hendricks-Woodley is official for UFC 192 and Condit-Lawler for the title is happening at UFC 193. Damn can't believe Lawler is already fighting after that all out war at 189. Dude is a badass.

UFC 189 (McGregor vs Mendes) did an early estimate of 825,000 buys and UFC 190 (Rousey vs Correia) did an early estimate of 900,000 buys. And those are conservative estimates not including overseas buys.

For those who didn't see it, Rousey did an AMA on Reddit. Her opinion on Cyborg was a straight call-out.
"Sincere opinion about Cyborg: she's just waiting to be offered enough money to get her ass kicked ('cuz she knows she'll get her ass kicked). I know for a fact she can make the weight. She consulted with Mike Dolce (my current nutritionist) before I ever started working with him and after consulting with her he said he could get her in "the best shape of her life" at 135. She then started being represented by Tito Ortiz and all talk stopped. The delay is all about money, not her weight. She made 145 pumped full of steroids. She can healthily make 135 without them. Her shows that she headlines lose thousands of dollars, and the majority of the tickets are given away because no one will buy them. She needs me. So pretty much we're waiting for her to realize that she needs to fight me before I retire or she'll never have enough money to retire. I would like me kicking her ass be my retirement fight but whether she steps up or not I'll walk away undefeated and happily ever after regardless."

I think UFC in general is worried about the fight if they make it they need assurances that Cyborg will make weight and not BS around. UFC would have egg on their face if Cyborg doesn't make weight and yet wins the fight even without title on the line. There would be no way UFC would shut that match down unless she's just like 10 lbs overweight come weigh in.

Just wanted to point out that if what Rousey said is true, it's kind of messed up of a nutritionist to be sharing his client's personal information with others. Of course a nutritionist isn't exactly a PCP or anything, but you'd still expect confidentiality.

Can't they just fight already? With Rousey playing along by saying that she'd fight men above her weight class as well as grappling with UFC lightweights and middleweights and Cyborg playing the "would she/won't she" game by teasing a weight cut but not doing anything, I'm starting to think that neither woman wants to fight the other. The worst part of this is that the media won't push the issue because Cyborg is relatively unknown and Rousey is too busy being seen as being above and beyond fighters in her division. If they're gonna fight, fight already and stop messing around before people lose interest.

CM Punk is currently in a Twitter "war" with Cathal Pendred.
CM Punk is an old washed up wannabe fighter, and Pendred is boring. Fascinating stuff.

I look at that as Rousey talking shit but it doesn't do her any favors saying she'll fight dudes bigger than her. However, the big issues is if Cyborg is off the drugs. I've said this before and i'll say it again Ronda has no reason to bump in weight to fight Cybrog. They both are champions but the draw is in Ronda and as the champ I wouldn't give you an inch of an advantage you fight in my playing field which in this case is 135.

If Rousey is willing to fight people heavier than her with physical advantages such as more dense bone structure and stronger muscle tissue such as Mayweather up to even Caín Velásquez, putting stipulations for a potential Cyborg sounds silly because, in theory, Rousey should beat her regardless of whether Cyborg has steroids in her system or not. In my opinion, the whole "Cyborg has to make weight" issue is less about not being a female flyweight division in the UFC and more of the possibility of Rousey losing to a proven cheater after being portrayed as someone who'd take on all comers. That's a danger of UFC putting all their female bantemweight eggs in one basket because, if Rousey loses to Cyborg, who's gonna be the surging face of the division when Rousey destroyed everyone else?

See I don't believe in that though. Why would I fight you if I suspect you are on drugs. Steroids use in a "action sport" is very dangerous and I would not risk myself to endangerment because of a need to beat someone who has already proven they will cur corners to win. I agree UFC is afraid that she will lose to a cheater and it would damage that division immensely. I brought this up before about Gina Carano being the white knight for the division and Cyborg ate her alive like nobody did or has done since. It was suspected since was on the juice for that fight but Cyborg won. It's a combination on Ronda starting to feel herself a little bit to much but I can't blame her because she is portrayed as baddest person on the planet(her beating mayweather though she need stop that). UFC has painted themselves in the corner with this and Dana should have himself to blame for that as well. Ronda timeline is ticking she won't be this popular forever and I see her hanging it up around age 30 or so to do movies and other endeavors.

Besides Tate, who can be a real threat to Rousey? Zingano had her chance and lost by acting foolish, Correia barely got a title shot by beating the scrubs that hang out with Ronda, McMann has problems with her striking, Nunes already lost to Zingano and might need a couple of big wins to become a serious contender, Eye has a decent base but doesn't follow up and she already lost to Tate and Holm is going the distance with fighters that she should've beaten more convincingly. If things keep up like this, Rousey can fight Tate, fight another contender, then fight Cyborg and retire.
The whole Mike Tyson kind of monster push is good if the monster is fed constantly but Rousey is already running out of people to beat and Joanna Champion is relatively new to the UFC so building the female strawweight division and take it to prominence would take a while to fill the void Rousey would leave after she's done. Then again, the way UFC showcases their champions and how divisions can benefit from that is a tale for another day.

There is 0 incentive for UFC to set up Rousey/Cyborg at 140 or 145. If R3 lost at 145 to Cyborg, they have no way to capitalize off it as they don't have a 145 division, and if Ronda wins it's not a title defense which is what the general public care about. This fight has to happen at 135 in the UFC, or it has to happen outside the UFC (which will never happen)

The biggest obstacle this fight faces is not drug testing or anyone ducking the other, it's the fact that, while Ronda is a huge draw, Cyborg brings zero interest to any of her fights. Doesn't help she's in a league no one has heard and, let's be honest, Ronda's a much more attractive woman than Cyborg is, which makes her more appealing to the general. Regardless of the reasons, the draw champion never chases the challenger.

Cain gets the fight he wants in Mexico City and yet doesn't put in the work and gets embarrassed out there. They are hoping for the same situation that happened when he rematched JDS.
