Man, playing as Duck Hunt is quite the experience, just because people tend to react to the can in so many different ways.
The best one I've experienced so far is a Villager who nets the can, and then throws it back at me at point blank range. All I do is shield, and it's enough for a KO at 89%.

Does anyone have characters they opt to use custom moves for? Generally, I don't, but Ganondorf's optional moves actually are pretty damn good and not as gimmicky as many of the others.
Palutena's almost piss me off. They are VERY different from her normal attacks, and frankly, more interesting or useful, to me. It makes her a completely different character depending on what set you have her with, and many players will never see that. Some of these tricks probably should have been given to Dark Pit to lessen complaints about how damn close he is to regular Pit.

GameXplain has a video of what songs are in the game and holy shit it's amazing
It's an incomplete list, so more awesomeness is coming.

Speaking of GameXplain, they also have three Palutena's Guidance calls put up: Mega Man, Ludwig Von Koopa (so even alts will get them. Yay!) and Captain Falcon (not as fun as the Brawl one for Snake).

The best one I've experienced so far is a Villager who nets the can, and then throws it back at me at point blank range. All I do is shield, and it's enough for a KO at 89%. I just react depending on who I'm playing as and how I feel at the moment. I keep forgetting that I actually have to close the distance because otherwise I'm just going to get pelted with Duck & Dawg's shit. It was on my string of Charizard plays since I generally have to play smarter as Charizard because sometimes I can't mentally process having to CONSTANTLY ATTACK. So my Charizard play is comparatively "lazy," I try to get the most while moving the least and using the least amount of moves as possible. I wish I could imagine the look on that player's face when I torched the can with flame breath and it blew up in his face for the KO... Frankly, characters who can make their own items and hazards are a godsend as I love using that shit against them, it's less physical work I have to do. A lot of players don't seem to know how to react to it. I still think it's interesting looking at who gets play and who doesn't. I've only come across one person who played Metaknight. He was my main in Brawl before I understood how good he was. Playing him in 3DSmash really is having to learn him all over again because there's no glide, his range is even worse, some of his moves have longer start-up and shorter durations, he's even chunkier than he used to be. And like, where are the Bowser players? Bowser is actually awesome and just playing as him for a few minutes, it really did feel like he's much better here than he was in Brawl. Dude moves more like T-1000 than the tank he was in Brawl and Melee. I'd be surprised if Bowser wasn't the best heavyweight in the game, and yet...dude gets no plays.

{Spoiler}I'll be honest, I was kinda expecting more than you can hide behind the grass and the trees as platforms.

Hearing Mercer in an actual Smash game is kind of surreal considering he co-made There Will Be Brawl a few years back.

Even though its a port, I'm just happy that Battle Scene/Final Boss is on the Wii U... and hopefully as a starting track on Norfair this time.

All of the Palutena's Guidance are so corny and over the top that they are fantastic.

i.imgur.com/kfWIyxE.png?1The full roster on the Wii U version. I'm curious how they'll handle DLC, because I expect them to make a second page on the 3DS, but what if they'll have a section for "Downloadable Roster" that you can click on. Also, a while back, the Super Smash Sisters art was posted, and here's a follow-up. This is gonna make some people very, very happy: Would've liked Jenna, but at least Medusa is in this one.

Still surprised that ms. Pac-man wasn't in the game as a alt to pac-man.

Just watched the full collection of all of the guidance ones. Not sure what the best of them is, but main contenders I think are Link, Fox, Samus, Ike, Robin, Meta Knight, Pittoo, and Mega Man.
