LJN's WWF games were as good as licensed pro wrestling games got on home consoles at the time. Saturday Night Slam Masters was a vastly superior wrestling game, and although most of its roster was modeled after actual, popular wrestlers, it was not licensed and did not seem well known.
I was always hoping too see a port of Techno's WWF Wrestlefest for the SNES and Genesis instead of more ho-hum WWF games by LJN.

The only LJN games I have ever enjoyed were the 16 bit WWF games, especially WWF Royal Rumble. I used to play that game for HOURS back in the day. In fact, I think that game helped me get interested into pro wrestling as a kid. Super Wrestlemania was okay and WWF Raw was damn good too. Other than that....LJN kinda sucked.

If Alien 3 for NES had not have had that time limit for the levels, I would consider it a pretty decent game. That thing barely gives you just enough time to make it through many of the levels.

Alien 3 on the SNES was genuinely a pretty good game.

One thing WWf rumble had was a breakdown of the entry time, who they eliminated and how long they lasted. I loved that statistic stuff as a kid.

I loved Royal Rumble. The themes were as spot on as you were gonna get from a 16-bit game, and it was fun to play.
I have a soft spot for T&C Surf Designs. It was fun to play, even if it did get a tad repetitive.

When I got my NES for Christmas in 1988, I was given 3 games with it (other than the Mario/Duck Hunt pack in). Back to the Future, Gradius, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I didn't really like BTTF, and Gradius was fun, but very hard. I loved Roger Rabbit though, I would play it all the time. I loved looking for the clues, and punching random people in the face. It had its frustrating parts, but its a game I really enjoyed, although looking back I can see why it would get alot of hate. But for a 10 year old kid back then I thought it was great.

To be fair, the 16 but games were basically made by acclaim. Super Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble for the genesis was under their Flying Edge banner. I'm sure acclaim just used ljn and flying edge for whenever they wanted to put out more games for the systems. WWF Raw was just by acclaim on the genesis (where it was still ljn for snes)
Also WWF Superstars isnt too bad for gameboy,
