Patriot League has two new members this season in Boston University and Loyola-Maryland.
Not sure how AU will do but I assume better then last season. New coach this time in Mike Brennan (who was an assistant at G-Town.)

Almost every poll I've seen has Memphis ranked 13th (preseason mags; etc). Which is fair. I think they have the talent to be much better. But until Josh Pastner proves he can go head to head with the big boys, Memphis will always have its doubters and rightfully so. But with for senior guards, that makeup what CBS Sports called the best backcourt in the nation, I'm optimistic that this is the season my Tigers breakout big. And being a season ticket holder, it'll be nice, to have multiple meaningful games after the new year.

Oops, the first poll was just a writer's. This is the actual USA Today Preseason Top 25:
1) Kentucky 2) Michigan State 3) Louisville 4) Duke 5) Arizona 6) Kansas 7) Syracuse 8) Florida 9) Michigan 10) Ohio State 11) North Carolina 12) Oklahoma State 13) Memphis 14) Gonzaga 15) VCU 16) Wichita State 17) Marquette 18) Oregon 19) UConn 20) New Mexico 21) Wisconsin 22) Notre Dame 23) UCLA 24) Indiana 25) Virgnia
Also, Chane Behanan has been suspended indefinitely/kicked off of UL for first violating team rules, and then violating his first chance to return by messing up again.

Unlike the high preseason ranking for OK State's football team I feel the ranking for their basketball team is more justified.

UK went one for two on their 2014 targets today. Got Devin Booker away from Michigan and Missouri, but lost James Blackmon Jr. back to IU where he had originally committed. Landing one of the two best pure shooters in the class isn't bad though.
