Grinnell is a freaking NCAA Division 3 team. Who cares if they play an ACCA team to garner news? People will be very much aware the scenario that was present when they look at the records. Not a really big deal.

Just solely as a player Cliff Alexander was my second favorite guy in the 2014 class. The rest of the stuff though .... eh. This should tell you something about Cliff. Calipari has a very good relationship with the people involved in Cliff's recruitment. He recruited Cliff pretty hard about a year ago, and then out of the blue just stopped. Cliff said in an interview that he just stopped hearing from UK at some point and never did again. Tom Izzo ended up doing something similar. This is back at a point where UK and Michigan State were thought of as the two easy favorites in that race. Both of them saw something they really didn't care for. That announcement may have been a glimpse of it. Sigh. That makes me really worry about getting Cliff. The last thing we need is a hothead. With Wiggins, at least he is shy in interviews and is shy in public settings on campus. I have never once seen him beg for attention when I catch him on campus. In fact, I don't really see any of our players do that last year or this year. Bill Self was able to recruit top talent while still keeping a high quality in a sense of character as well. Selden is very nice, as is Greene and Embiid. I have yet to see Connor Frankamp though.

I'm glad to see someone else sees through this bullshit at Grinnell. The coach has pretty much gift wrapped the record for this guy to get attention with his system.

Taylor still has to actually, you know, make his shots.
If I was in that Grinnell system, I'd be missing too many shots.

Big night tonight for college basketball, I will be in class until 6 and watching 12 Years of Slave with my girlfriend, so I will be missing out KU should manhandle Iona and I expect OSU to beat Memphis. OSU is amazing at causing turnovers and Memphis gives up way too many. I also expect TCU to get their first win tonight. As you can tell....big supporter of Big 12 basketball. The American Conference (because I like a lot of those programs and really hope to enjoy the new history they will make) and Wichita State (lived 45 minutes from there for almost my entire life) and the MVC are also of my interests.

I don't expect Memphis to go into Stillwater and beat OSU. But I'll be disappointed if they're not competitive. I'm tired of early season beat downs by quality teams.

Pathetic. No discipline on either side of the ball. And no C-USA to beat up on anymore.

Pathetic. No discipline on either side of the ball. And no C-USA to beat up on anymore. Lets be fair, most of AAC is C-USA. And most of the new C-USA is Sun Belt

AU faces Ohio State today. I expect them to be crushed.
By the way, any news on when Myles Turner will decide?

Georgetown crushes KSU 90-63.
Man, I knew that K-State's seasons were going to get progressively worse with Webber as their coach, but I didn't expect the decline to be so sudden and drastic. Poor KSU.

Wow, UNC dominates Louisville in the second half. Can't say I saw that coming.

I might be able to go see the finals of the CBE Tourney in KC. Looks like fun, I would love to see WSU kill Texas and watch DePaul play.
Looking at the rankings, I would like to have seen Charlotte get a few more votes. Of course the only quality opponent they beat in the Puerto Rico tourney was Michigan, they still beat KSU and Northeastern. Those aren't bad teams. Just not good. Well...KSU might as well be bad.

Great win for Memphis tonight against Okie St. Showed a lot of heart coming back from a 10 point deficit at half. Not to mention the beat down OSU gave them, just 12 days ago.

I am happy Memphis got that win over OSU. While I support Big 12 like no other, it was time for them to get a big win so people can stop crapping all over the Memphis program for not ever playing to their true potential. I am gonna love Thursday though.....3 Big 12 games in a night? I am in!

Willie Cauley-Stein nearly went triple-double against Providence last night. UK played their first really good game of the season.

Tom Crean is PISSED.
Why? Because Indiana fell victim to Syracuse's scheme again. Granted, this team is nowhere near the talent level as the one that lost to the Orange in last year's tournament, but that was horrid.
