Never really had a bad experience, actually.
Good ones off the top of my head:
- Kevin Steen stuck around after the last ROH show in Toronto and took pictures with everybody who wanted one and shot the shit. I spoke to him for a few minutes and as he was leaving, he came back to me as I was speaking to Roderick Strong to say goodnight and thank me again for coming.
- Years ago, I was at an ECW show with my cousin who was only maybe 11-12 at the time and Kid Kash came up to us after the show to thank my cousin for coming and asked him what he liked about the show.
- Randomly met Mick Foley on the street a day before he was to do stand up and I got a picture with him and mentioned that I would see him at the show the next day. He made a joke about how I was just saying that to kiss his ass for the picture. The next day after the show, he found me in the lobby and said "So you weren't lying after all!"

Colt Cabana was really cool and took the time to talk to me.
Ric Flair was also a really cool guy. He did a Q&A and a signing. At the Q&A a really young boy asked Flair "Who is stronger, Batista or Triple H?". A few 'smart' fans sniggered at the kid which i thought was really rude but Flair took the time to give the kid a proper answer, all in Kayfabe which i thought was ace of him.

Where's the guy who hates Crush on these boards? When I was a kid, I met Crush at a WWF house show in Mobile, AL (in the fall of 1992 when he was filling in for Hawk in LOD after he left the company). He refused to sign an autograph for me, saying "f*** off kid, I don't sign autographs". Just after that, a woman asked for one and he signed and even posed for a photo with her. I never liked him after that.

Best: Beth Phoenix and Edge. Two of the nicest people you can meet. Taking lots of time for the fans, signing everything, taking pics and having a little chat. So they are definitely the two I have in best memory.
The worst, by far with no one coming even close, Zack Ryder. He's the perfect example of fame getting to someone's head.

Pretty much anyone on the SHIMMER roster is great to meet, so long as you treat them with respect and courtesy. Obviously people have their opinions and stories on the SHIMMER fanbase but the women themselves are more than willing to sign stuff for you for free and pose for pictures a lot of the time. Some people gave Portia Perez a bad rep but I've had nothing but fun experiences meeting and talking to her so no idea what the problem there was. Same with Nicole Matthews who was kind enough to sign a sign that she had ripped of mine.
A close second would more than likely be Taryn Terrell. I met her at an Axxess and while they were rushing us to get going. She managed to keep a conversation going to me all through signing. Even as I was leaving the stage she was talking to me and commenting on stuff. As mentioned here, Tyson Kidd is very appreciative when you talk to him. I can easily say both Antonio Cesaro and Daniel Bryan are as well. Finally, Jay Lethal was a really fun guy to meet. At the BFG fan fest I went to, it was early in the morning and a lot of wrestlers seemed kind of disengaged but he had an energy and excitement to make conversation that it raised my mood up a lot. Same with Stevie Richards and Tara.
I've thankfully never really had a hugely bad experience meeting any wrestler. Some are quiet and reserved but that doesn't make it a bad experience. In fact, I think I've been more surprised by the lengths wrestlers go through to be able to get to most fans more than ever being let down by anyone.

Best: It's really hard to pick just one. I have to mention the late Sir Oliver Humperdink, who wanted me to find him later when he wasn't busy to talk managing (I had just worked my first show and mentioned it to him; that's all it took.) Sadly, I never got to do that. Hump was a cool cat and all class. Bobby Heenan was great. Jim Cornette has always been awesome. The first I met was Jimmy Valiant, and I've been a fan of the guy ever since. The late Percy Pringle/Paul Bearer was great. Jimmy Hart, Jerry Lawler, and the Rock n Roll Express were cool. Jim Duggan has always been great, and actually remembered me a year after the first meeting. Ric Flair was cool when I met him. Harley Race has always been a class act. Terry Funk is tremendous. Roddy Piper was awesome. Molly Holly is as nice as everyone says. Daffney has always been cool. Even Sunny was cool with me. I know I'm not going into much detail, but it would take all day. I'll stop there to make sure it doesn't take all day anyway.
Worst: I haven't had a truly bad experience. Animal was quiet and didn't stand up from the table for the photo, but I later learned he had flown in that morning on only a couple hours of sleep, so all things considered, I don't blame him. Abdullah the Butcher was fine to me, but I witnessed him being an ass to several other people, and apparently he's pretty much been blackballed from future events.
The strangest was "Maniac" Mark Lewin, a.k.a. The Purple Haze. I've told the story a few times, but I had purchased a photo of Lewin & Sullivan from the Army of Darkness days from longtime Florida photographer Dwayne Long. I had gotten it signed by Sullivan earlier in the day. When I handed it to Lewin, he just stared at it for about 10 seconds. Then he looked up and stared, blank faced, at me for about 5 seconds. The he quietly said, "Are they selling these here?" I told him I had got it from Dwayne Long, and he instantly warmed up. "I should have known it was Dwayne's, you can even see so much detail in the folds of the robes," he said, before showing it to whoever was sitting next to him (I think Abdullah.) He then signed the pic as Purple Haze and personalized it to me without being asked. I don't know if he had some kind of deal with Greg Price about the photos being sold and thought he was being screwed or what.

I never had what I really a bad experience from a wrestler. When I went to TNA Fanfest a few years ago. The last time Lockdown was in St. Louis. The staff working the lines where horrible in noticeably Team 3D's line. It did get to the point where Deavon had to step in and say something. What was happening is there was two lines VIP and Regular lines. All the other lines would rotate back and forth. This guy running the line would never change. Like all the regulars would stand there for like twenty mins. Once Deavon was hearing people complaining. I even said something to Don West who was selling stuff right there. he said not much he can do.
The funniest moment was Christy Hemmie photo bombed me in a picture with Beer Money. She was going around interviewing wrestlers. I didn't know she was about to do Beer Money. I last saw her with Anderson I think. Was the table next to them. But right after the picture she was standing right there. I was like "Well hello".
Everyone was super cool mostly. The stands out was RVD who made sure the picture was cool. He did a retake because the camera did something weird. Tara was awesome laughed at herself when she started to right Victoria, which made me laugh. I was like Same person. So was Velvet the only one of the three Madison and Von Erich who really said something. The Pope was really funny. So Cal Val said something funny about She liked my dimples but don't tell RVD that. Which I was like "ok" laughed. Then said well I didn't plan on seeing him again being that he was done signing at that point.
Angle was quiet but cool. It was funny because when I was leaving I saw him out in the parking Garage waiting for his limo. Which I just yelled Thank you again. He waved.

I met Kevin Sullivan a few months back and he was really cool. I was wearing my Detroit Tigers hat and he made a comment about it. That led to us talking baseball for a few minutes before he went on to do other things. Really polite man. Rhyno was also really cool when I met him. Again,I was wearing my Detroit Tigers hat forgetting that he was from Detroit. He told me how much he loved my hat and I was also wearing my Beastie Boys shirt(it was the same day that MCA passed away) and he mentioned how he loved the Beastie Boys. We talked for a minute before he went back to signing stuff for fans but he was incredibly friendly. Those are the first two that comes to mind. I haven't had any bad experiences luckily.

This is going to sound like kind of a weird one but one of the most pleasant experiences was meeting Shane Douglas. I was at the Wrestlereunion convention in LA when I was living there and he asked me what my name was the first day and continued to address me by name all three days of the convention. Other good experiences were Tommy Dreamer, Mick Foley, El Generico, Kevin Steen, Roddy Piper (who made sure he talked to everyone for a decent amount of time despite the fact he was the headliner of that Wrestlereunion ), Terry Funk, The New Age Outlaws and Tatanka who just wanted to talk about the Superbowl since I was wearing a Packers jersey the year they won. The Bushwhackers get points as they were at the first show (a small indy show in Osceola, Nebraska) I ever attended.
Worst was probably Virgil. I had a surprisingly good encounter with Raven as we mainly talked comics.

When I was a kid, Dave Hero ran cards at a local venue, and he would bring in some names from the eighties: The Iron Sheik, King Kong Bundy, and Honky Tonk Man worked a few cards.
Good: -King Kong Bundy was awesome, spent time chatting with the fans, did the "WHOA BUNDY" cheer with us, and my picture with him was him looking like he was choking me.
Sheik was really sweaty, but a pretty funny guy overall. He put me in a headlock for our picture, and apologized for getting sweat on me.
-Undertaker and Paul Bearer were really cool, especially since they were a last minute replacement for Warrior before King of The Ring 96. Bearer's throat was pretty bad since fans kept requesting that he'd say "OH YES" in his voice. Taker was pretty intimidating to seven year old me, even without the gimmick.
-Cabana was nice, I asked him about the podcast and we talked about Matt Classic. He said that Matt beat the Crusher in a bar brawl, but that Ray Nitschke saved the Crusher.
-Dasher Hatfield has to be the nicest guy ever, at intermission he walked around talking to the fans and posed for pictures, really good guy.
-The Chikara crew after the show was amazing, Mr. Touchdown didn't like that I told some people that he was the punter though. Tim Donst was really cool since he told me to get out of my seat during his match, and told me that he didn't expect anybody to sit there. Mosto f the guys complimented my shirt (Heenan School of Broadcast Journalism).
Okay
-Bobby Heenan: He just signed his autograph (Around the time his second book came out) and had some small talk. I can't blame him as the line was huge and they had to delay restarting the show.
Bad -Honky Tonk Man was probably the worst, kept trying to sell people his Jakks figure for thirty-five bucks since these were the last ones produced. Pretty rude guy overall.

Best - Dean Malenko....met him at a house show here in Palm Springs a few years ago, and we chatted about the business and he genuinely seemed interested in what I had to say regarding wrestling overall and how I viewed him as a talent. Also, Mick Karch and Chavo Classic as in they are both great guys who take their time to chat with me on Facebook and are appreciative of their fans.
Worst - Brooklyn Brawler....saw him at a RAW in Anaheim (the night Flair was inducted into the hall of fame). He walked past me, I said "Hey Brawler!" and he brushed me off and muttered something.

Most of my experiences have been good, and it's hard to pick a favorite. Mark Henry, Teddy Long, Ox Baker, Freddie Blassie, Test, Stacy Keibler, Tony Atlas, Bam Bam Bigelow, Jerry Lawler, Sgt. Slaughter and (believe it or not) Bob Holly were all genuinely friendly and seemed to have a good time talking to the fans.
While not awful, the worst would have to be Shawn Michaels at the Fan Fest prior to Wrestlemania XI. He wasn't there for long and seemed distracted and disinterested. Strangely, he was also wearing an earring that said "F--- YOU" despite the WWF being super-kid-friendly at the time. I think my sister still has a pic of it somewhere.

I really haven't had any bad ones, luckily, and it's mostly guys and girls on the indies. Jessie McKay was kind of shitty about some 8x10s once, but it wasn't really a big deal. Now some of the best: - Larry Sweeney: Met him at King of Trios 07. He marked out hard for my friend's Akeem costume. Hugely talkative, really humble, super down to earth. He insisted on getting a picture with my friend because of how much he loved Akeem/One Man Gang when he was a kid. Easily the nicest experience I've ever had. He was even approachable during his "down period" when he went off the meds. My friend had a podcast that he did and he was still extremely pleasant and super nice even if he wasn't completely with it. - Arik Cannon, Jimmy Jacobs, and Truth Martini: I've met Jimmy a bunch of times and it's horrible because I mark out every time. Total teeny bopper mode sans tears. He can be VERY moody, though. I've avoided him sometimes after shows. Anyway, I mention these three because of running into them at a bar after an AAW show. In the company, Arik and Jimmy were odd couple tag champions that would randomly beat on each other during matches. After their match that night, they were supposed to cut a promo challenging the Irish Airborne at the next show. It quickly broke down into nothing but dick jokes, jokes about jacking off, they kissed, and it was just a f***ing mess. Danny Daniels got PISSED at them backstage for this and Jimmy actually cleared his merch table and left in the middle of the show. At the afterparty, Cannon was talking to people and just kind of asked me what I thought of the promo. Told him I thought it was funnier than hell. He calls Jimmy over (with Truth) and introduces me as someone that liked what they did. Jimmy came over, shook my hand and thanked me. He also couldn't believe I was wearing his first shirt (the one with pink hearts during the Ballad of Lacey era) and the three of them were telling me about the joys of getting bitched out by Danny Daniels. Good times! - Shazza McKenzie: Long story short, I made a twitter parody of my friend. All he does is talk about not getting laid and how he hates EVERYTHING on his, so I made a gimmick out of it. I randomly included her in a tweet and she loved it. We've been twice a year and twitter BFFs ever since. Her being drunk off her ass and doing Ryback's "Feed Me More" thing is still one of my favorite things ever. Did a podcast with her as well and she is so fun. Love her! - Saraya Knight: I believe it was the second SHIMMER taping I went to that I had the courage ( ) to go up to her merch table. I told her that she scares the shit out of me, but I love her for it. She laughed and then lunged at me like she was going to hit me...then we laughed when I flinched. It was neat. Caught up with her that night at the after party and she was SUPER shy and quiet, but took a picture with me and some other people. - MsChif: Once gave me a hug (which is super rare for her) for telling her she did the impossible by getting me to give a shit about a Danny Daniels match. She's really nice, approachable, humble and grateful for her fans. - Sgt. Slaughter: Met him at a minor league baseball game. Super friendly, put me in the cobra clutch without asking, then said I should be his tag team partner. My inner child loved it. - Necro Butcher: He spent a good half hour with myself and a friend after an ROH show once. Told us some stories about working Abby and crazy shit in general. SUPER, super amazing guy that was really grateful for that beer. - Adam Pearce: Funny as hell. Hung around a bit after an ROH show in Chicago Ridge. We bought him a beer because he tried to kill a camera guy that he kept tripping over and that kept blocking our view during the show. - Colt Cabana: He's just the man. Seriously. Nicest guy on Earth even when you don't buy something. There's a ton more, but those are my favorites.

What happened with these guys? Neither could be bothered to even pretend they cared about the fans. Raven was shilling merchandise, I was excited to meet him. I bought some of his crap and took a picture. Barely looked at the camera, and nothing close to a smile. Thanks a lot. Goldust pretty much no-sold me entirely. Both crappy experiences that stuck with me as a kid. I'd prefer to think back on my Vader, Jericho and CHIKARA experiences. Way better.

In my quest to get my Winged Eagle belt signed by all remaining living holders of it, I can say by far the nicest guy was Hogan. He was very friendly, posed for photos, etc.
On the other hand, Kevin Nash was a complete asshole. He signed my belt with his name, so I asked him if he could sign "Diesel" as well. He rolled his eyes and said "whatever man, it's your belt"

Only time I ever went to an event with a meet and greet was when IWA Mid-South had Bobby Heenan in my hometown. The line filled quickly until they said it was $10 for an autograph. I jumped out of line and walked back to the bleacher seat. My brother stayed in line, got to shake his hand and thank him for the good times. (Then the two of us walked to our parents' house 2 blocks away. My brother shook my dad's hand and said he shook the Weasel's hand at the show. My dad thought that was pretty cool.) I wasn't going to waste the Brain's time if I wasn't going to buy anything. I just sat in my seat and watched all the fans talk to the Brain. That was just as fun, he even did the fanny-pack put-down from his book on somebody, except it was a little cruder. I won't share that.
Just to the right of me, Icarus & Jigsaw were talking to this one adult, while mimicking wrestling moves on his kid.

Best: Paul London, Tommy Dreamer, all of Chikara (especially Dasher Hatfield)
99% of the wrestlers I've met have been actively cool. The last 1% were stand-offish but whatever, I kind of get it and they were always professional during their matches. I can't say I've ever had a terrible experience.

I haven't met Raven in years but when I met him he was always cool. From what I have heard he must have changed. I do this as a hobby so I have had tons of stories. Some of my favorites/nicest were Jimmy Yang (lives in the area and knows me), Paul London, RVD (never not awesome), Jeff Hardy (same as RVD), Ivory, Justin Credible, Balls, and many more that I know I am forgetting
A more recent one was ACH being excited someone went up to him with an 8x10 to get signed
My worst have to be X-pac calling us c***s and trying to fight us because some of the group was chanting X-Pac sucks at him. And Arn Anderson yelling at me because I didn't hear him say hold on. A more recent one was Ric Flair threatening to get me kicked out of the hotel because I went up to him for an autograph.
