I'm 20, and I'm doing the college thing, and I still hold out some hope of being involved in the business. I really want to write for a wrestling federation, do storylines and stuff. How would I go about doing that? Any ideas?

If you don't want to do WWE, your best bet is to go and find a local indy that could use a hand. But don't go in asking to book. Just try to make some friends there and eventually earn their trust.
If you want to do WWE, it's through Human Resources or something and they have a process you have to go through.

As a guy that books for an indy, my advice is DON'T. Seriously, its a ton of rewritting and trying to make everyone happy. Just go write a book or something. Much easier.

Build a career and a writing portfolio elsewhere first.
Magazines, TV shows, local news stations, newspapers etc...
Though I recommend that if you are a success if any of the above fields, that you stay there. Wrestling is not a good career move.

Go work at an indy place as a t shirt salesman and when the booker misses his septa bus step in and be a hero

Not to flog a dead horse but these guys are right. I'd say apply to be a member of your local indy fed's ring crew or something and work your way up.

If you want to do WWE, write for soap operas and sitcoms before asking them. Fixed for sad, sad truth.
