I think he's one of the (many) things that keeps me from enjoying Impact more. There's just something about his I'm-gonna-pick-up-some-chicks-at-the-night-club-later-on-with-my-wide-collar-and-disco-medallion look that makes me hate his guts. In fact I'd almost compare him to Todd Pettengill in terms of lack of charisma and interview skills. I understand he does a lot of behind the scenes stuff but is there anybody who actually likes JB as an on-air personality?

I totally agree with you. My friends and I think he's get demons living inside him because of the face he makes after each interview.

He's perpetually bug-eyed and confused. I liked Shane Douglas better as an interviewer.

Have a strong dislike for the guy, as far as an on-air personality, I do. Muchly dislike that dumb starring wide-eyed mouth wide open look he does after each interview, he's definitely one of the bigger dorks in all of wrestling.

Now, Now. Tools actually serve a purpose. Borash? No purpose served.

I love him for the exact same reasons you described, he looks so tacky and cheap and has that weird fake local news reporter voice. I laff everytime I see him.
I dont dislike the new chick whose name escapes my mind either, I dont know where the Robotka di Pietro comparisions came from but they were unjustified, shes not great but shes done a decent job.

I don't really mind him, but then, I compare every backstage interviewer to Todd Pettengil, whom I hated, so to me, anyone's better than him.

Was I the only one who thought this was going to be a thread with a photoshopped picture of Borash as Maynard James Keenan?

He's perpetually bug-eyed and confused. I liked Shane Douglas better as an interviewer. douglas always looked like someone had just given him an anal probe. borash just acts confused and gets pushed around. none of them have good chemistry like say.. the rock and coach. slick and zbisko have good chemistry. im more annoyed by tenay than the interviews.

At least she barely ever talks. Mostly what you get is: "I'm backstage with..." "SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH, HO!"

I think Borash looks like the singer from Rascal Flatts: vs. I dislike him. He makes iMPACT feel less serious because his look is not that of a locker room correspondent. Who was the best? Lord Alfred. Why? Because he dressed like this: 1) Suit and tie. He is at a Major Event - a wrestling show where the Champion is present. You don't do that in business casual or meltaway disposable clubbing clothes. 2) Company logo all over the place. He is a professional reporter in the employ of a wrestling promoter. He is working for them and the talent treats him seriously. And I like Shane Douglas as a wrestler, as a character, as a personality. But as an announcer, he would overshadow guys. You never want the announcer to be in better shape than the wrestler. Looks bad. Think of Lisa Leslie interviewing Allen Iverson during the NBA Playoffs. Should never happen. Plus, Shane has such a srong voice and huge presence that he overshadows guys that way, as well. So yeah, clone Lord Alfred.

Not a good right on the spot, live interviewer, but he can produce some great projects if he had time to do so.
Reminds me of an older Todd Grisham.
