A couple of friends and I had ourselves a movie night on New Year's Eve and someone brought Sharknado. At the end of the night we were too boozed up to remember who brought it but I still resent that f***er. That was the worst movie I have ever seen in my life, it wasn't even funny-bad, it was just bad-bad. If I didn't know better I think somebody at the studio purposely sabotaged the movie. Or it's some kind of performance art piece.

it is a typical asylum z-movie, edit it down to an hour's worth and you have a BETTER product!!! but it's grade A pure refined horse manure compared to the GOOOOOOOOOLD that is ..... ghostshark would slap the tornado about a bit, them suplex it so that all the sharks would fall out of the tornado .....

I found it pretty boring to be honest. I don't get the big hype about it. Almost reminds me of The Human Centipede in that the gimmick is more interesting than the actual movie.

I get what your saying. I'm actually a huge fan of The Asylum, but some of the stuff in this movie made my head hurt it was so bad. Like the bartender having the hots for the dude from 90210 then getting with his son... I know I pay way too much attention when watching this movie. John Heard and his bar stool should have been the stars of this movie...

Most Asylum films have this wonderful absurdity and detachment. But Sharknado knew what it was and tried to be a shitty movie instead of just being one. It never felt like the awful was natural.
I did love the old dude who was invincible anytime he was holding the bar stool, but as soon as he let it go he eats it.

They should just stop making films. The best part was when he dived THROUGH the shark. For years people have cited Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Vertigo, Ben-Hur, The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia as among the greatest films of all time. But they didn't have a shark which functioned like a tornado. And that has to be taken into consideration. It just does!

Much more impressive.

I mean, you can't waste a viewing of Sharknado in regular HD from a cable broadcast! Something this good has to be seen the right way!
