Anyone got full results? And They should call this Final Battle 06: A festivus for the rest of us Nope. I'm still trying to find out what happened before Jacobs/Martinez vs. Whitmer/Haze. Which reminds me, the finish there was that Whitmer had Jacobs in a fireman's carry, Haze climbed to the top, and jumped off of Jacobs into... I'm not sure if she was going for a splash or elbowdrop or whatever, but the thought was there. Whitmer just kept on holding Jacobs, then dropped him after the three-count. No clue what that was all about, unless Whitmer's the first person to think of carrying around someone to make sure they don't break up a pin. I'll post pics later. Had some good ones of that match, although I'm a little miffed a bunch of them, including KoW/Briscoes, came out blurry. -_-

Showtime!
And apparently the Briscoes have challenged the KoW for a rematch.

Rave wins another. I don't like him as much as some, but nice to see he's already getting built back up after the Embassy ended.

Joe calling Misawa and "old man"?
I wonder if he'll feel that when he goes to Japan and jobs to Misawa?

And I hope something else happens with Claudio....it seems very messed up if that's his last ROH moment.

The KoW are no more And if THAT was Claudio's farewell, what an anticlimatic letdown.

If that's his farewell, I'm posting a topic named "ROH screwed up tonight" which I thought I would NEVER do. Hell, I just bought their last two Final Battles on DVD as well as This Means War.

Listen, I agree that if this is the only goodbye Claudio gets, it's kind of lame. But I'm not going to bury it so fast. In kayfabe terms he was a ROH turncoat who returned only because he was still under contract. His partner is the most hated man in ROH. Would you expect the ROH roster to come out and carry him around while the crowd chants "CLAUDIO! CLAUDIO!"? He isn't exactly an ROH lifer either. It would have been better with a beatdown situation from Hero, but I guess they didn't want to end their team that way.
I wish they had done more with it, because they had the chance to, but I don't think this is some huge tragedy.

Well, they carried Punk around and doused him in Pepsi after he turned face on his last day...and I know it was Chicago and all, but NYC has alot of banks, so it could be like a second home to Claudio as he won the tag titles in NYC and stuff like that. And yes, I resorted to Schiavone logic.

Well that goes back to the ROH lifer thing. Claudio has been in ROH since mid/late 05 if I'm not mistaken. Punk was a ROH legend.

The KISS method:
Hero & Sweeney beat on Claudio, Briscoes attack them for the hell of it, Hero & Sweeney get fed to Claudio by the Briscoes, the Briscoes shake Claudio's hand, and then leave Claudio in the ring alone for his standing ovation. As he is about to get backstage, out comes Joe, a calm but intense staredown occurs, but Joe and Claudio shake hands, and then Joe does his spiel.
