Basically, the wrestling version of Freddy vs. Jason.

Brooke Hogan. Claire Lynch was just on another level for wrestling. Her debut is still talked about fondly to this day.

Technically Claire was a worse character, but she has a Plan 9 Outer Space charm to her, and she in part helped further the antics of Bad Influence. And"DO THE RIGHT THING, AJ" will live in infamy. Other than that time she tripped, Brooke contributed nothing. So she was worse.

Clair Lynch was gold!! Her facial expressions were always funny.
Brooke was just kinda there...because her daddy got her a job. On her own she added nothing at all and probably wont be remembered a few months from now.
"Do the right thing AJ" ill be chanted for the next ten years lol.

Claire Lynch was a character.
Brooke Hogan is essentially portraying herself. To be this terrible, and it not be an act is on a whole nother level.

Claire was so terrible she came out the other side and became amazing again. Also she appeared at a time when the product was at a creative peak so being the only dumb thing on the roster didn't matter so much. Brooke actually subtracted value from everything.

Brooke. Claire Lynch was some girl they'd hired from the themepark with no background of appearing on TV, while Brooke was someone with several years of TV work behind her and professional wrestling as part of her family background so had no excuse for being as wooden and awkward as she was. She was paid a good wage and given a high profile TV role based who she's related to and will be remembered alongside the likes of Johnny Fairplay and Booker T as one of TNA's the biggest wastes of money.

Oy vey.....well with Claire Lynch you got stupid affair angle, but Brooke Hogan you got stupid marriage angle. I dunno - Ok Brooke Hogan was worse, because BI was so damn funny during that whole thing they kind of cancelled her out. Brooke Hogan only had Aces & 8's drama to cancel her out - which made it even worse.

The answer is Brooke all day, every day. The whole Claire Lynch deal was hysterically bad to the point being legendary. The irony is that it led to a lot of good stuff. Brooke just isn't entertaining, not even in a train wreck way. It also doesn't help that she has been involved in a marriage angle with Bully Ray, as well as the entire Aces and Eights crap.

Claire Lynch was horrendous, but in a way that I actually looked forward to her segments. Everything surrounding her was so over the top that it was entertaining. Claire was only there for about a month, too, so she didn't overstay her welcome. Nothing Brooke Hogan contributed could be considered entertainment, barring the time she tripped on the stage. She also stayed for about a year, so it got old seeing her do...well...exist, I guess?
The difference also lies in the presentation. Brooke Hogan was brought in by TNA as a "major acquisition," with Dixie talking her up as having so many great ideas to improve the Knockout's division upon her arrival. They also centered much of her debut Impact hyping up her first appearance for the company. In the end, all she did was waste a lot of TV time. Claire Lynch was a totally out of left field story turn for the AJ Styles/Daniels feud. There was a little hype with where that story was going, but in the end it just turned out to be hilarious and, as Twitch_Moan said, is still talked about fondly today as one of the most bizarre and hilarious moments in TNA history.
So yeah, Brooke Hogan was way worse.

I chose Claire Lynch. You know you are a bad actor when even Brooke Hogan is a better actress than you are.

This reminds me of when people thought Claire Lynch was a pornstar even though she looked nothing like the other woman in question. That thread was hilarious.

Brooke.
The Claire thing was a bit that became so bad it's good. Brooke essentially did a pathetic job- partially because Karen Jarrett had done a decent job in that same role.
