Loved the lead-up and loved the move. It had a real feeling of "I don't know what's about to happen, but it's going to be awesome."
William Regal must have shed a tear at seeing that knee strike.

I was so expecting an STF out of nowhere on it. Weird seeing Cena not only lose, but lose decisively and be outright taken to his limit to where he was straight-up beaten. Not even Rock did that, he pretty much won on a fluke.

I really hope it becomes an alternate finisher for Bryan. As I said in another thread, it's something he can hit on any opponent. Also, he can win with it in cases when WWE wouldn't want his opponent to tap-out (like tonight).

I loved it. Bryan needed a finisher other than the Yes Lock, and that move is unique. I don't know what name they'll use for it, maybe the Goat Leg, but I hope he uses it from now on.

I'm pretty sure the Baisuku Knee was an audible. It looked like the match was supposed to end with Bryan countering the AA into a small package, but he botched it and couldn't get Cena's legs hooked. Bryan and Cena seem like the types that would call bullshit on such a weak pin ending such a high profile match.
Also, I imagine KENTA's somewhere in Japan saying "GODDAMN IT!!!!!! AGAIN?!?!?!?!?!?!"

But if you look at that small package, especially since Bryan won almost EVERY match leading up to this by reversing a finisher into it, that was obviously the planned finish. But it looked like shit. Next time I watch this match I'm gonna be looking for one of them saying "Oh we can't end on this!" Or something. |

That BKK was glorious. Audible or not, the feud with Orton can be Punt vs. Baisuku Knee Kick. I'm hoping for many decapitations.

If it was an audible, I think it gave Bryan a better win. Winning with a running knee strike just seems more definitive than winning with a small package. Hopefully it becomes a new finisher for Bryan. |

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that being an audible lessens how awesome of a finish it was. I actually think it shows just how much pride both of them take in their craft that they refused to end on such a weak looking finish, despite how much foreshadowing that original finish received. |

I liked it. I didn't know what to expect, & I certainly didn't think it would end the match, which kind of made it cooler. I hope he makes it his primary, non submission finisher.

I liked it. It's hard to explain, but the moment Bryan started setting up for it it felt like it was a finisher even though he had never used it before. Like he was setting up for it and I could totally buy it would keep Cena down. If it becomes a finisher from now on, I'll take it. Especially if it's a rare finisher he only uses against his toughest opponents or something.
