You missed the most obvious answer.
HHH will steal the LeBelle/Yes/No Lock, and force Bryan to submit to his own move.

Anyone who thinks Bryan would win, hasn't been watching for the last ten years. I hope HHH just sticks with his corrupt corperate role and stays out of the ring. I don't see Bryan getting too many wins over Orton, so it's going to be bad enough.
Funny how Cena puts Bryan over big at Summerslam and Orton put him over in a match on Raw. Cena probably will probably get his win back on a random Raw. Orton will get his win back, by beating Bryan at three ppvs in a row. I see this fued ending with Cena getting the belt back when he returns.

Either way this match didn't need to happen. Bryan had a clear path and Trips had to plug himself into it for no reason other than to claim some of the glory Bryan was generating on his own. Hogan didn't need to face Bruno, Austin didn't need Hogan, Rock didn't need HBK. Sometimes passing the torch doesn't need to happen. Sometimes it better for the old guys just to step aside and let the man pass by.
This could have been a real chance to grow. Bryan doesn't need an indomitable mega heel. Bryan plays so well off anyone and can make anyone look credible without losing his own credibility that they could have easily let him run with the title and made an entire new generation of heels. When he won the RoH title he managed to take a company that had lost a lot of talent and make several guys into very credible players. Roderick Strong became big with no charisma, Delerious' previous gimmick was a crazy guy with a year long losing streak, Nigel McGuiness became big.
Bryan should have been the Austin guy facing off against Vince's hired mercenaries of the Shield, the True Americans, ADR, Ryback, etc. Austin's title reign should also be remembered for how many heels got made. Kane became more than a footnote in Undertaker's story, Bossman became credible years after his last relevance, Big Show debuted at the top.
Instead at best we get all the heels not on Trips nuts pushed down the card and Trips able to claim HE made DB by putting him over. Nevermind the last couple years of "Yes" chants.
...and that's the best scenario I can see.

It's as certain as getting a plodding interminable promo from HHH or Orton tonight.

A part of me wishes we can go back to the days of authority figures who are only used in absolute necessities and don't get themselves involved in major storylines showcasing preferential treatment. The Mr. McMahon story worked in 1998 because it was new and fresh. This will mark the company's 34th attempt at this concept in the last 15 years.
Say what you want about Jack Tunney's foot fetish, but at least that guy kept his nose out of everyone's business and didn't screw anybody over and cut 20 minute promos about it.

Will HHH pin Bryan?!

Yes. My one hope is that HHH doesn't wrestle at all and doesn't mind "losing" the feud if it means he is not being pinned. My only other possible hope is that he's actually fighting real life for more control of the company and would see getting pinned as pinning Vince. Look I don't claim to understand how the man's mind works, he thinks with a shovel.

I still think we are getting DB vs. Cena at WM and DB vs. HHH at TLC in one of the gimmick matches

If he is truly going to face Stone Cold at Wrestlemania...what do you think? Wait...what?? the going rumour is they want Austin to come back and face Triple H at Wrestlemania, and that's why Trips turned. no they don't have confirmation he even wants to be involved.

DB should just roll with the punches. Whatever momentum-busting, non-star building idiocy they book, just go along with it and get paid. Smile and say all the right things that the carny WWE managment wants to hear.

Something about a bear in the woods...
HHH will come out on top, because he's safe and company and over, blah. I don't like it, but it's cannon at this point. He went over Lesnar, who had about fifty times the mainstream appeal that WWE begs for. He went over Punk who was hot as anyone and garnering mainstream publicity.
Yes, he's put people over, namely Batista, Cena, he who shall not be named, and if we ignore the psycho Randy damage, we can say that maybe he put him over by association.
By association...I guess that means if you do a program with Trips, you don't have to win, just have moments of looking good regardless of the feud. It's not "doing the honors" but it's something. So we can add Punk and Lesnar to the list since, you know, it went for a while. Beyond that, we can go back to Foley who, again, looked good despite losing.
So that's six guys in what 14 years? Three of them actually "lost", three who "lost" the feud, one of whom we all know what happened, the "face of the company" (who was established beforehand), and his buddy who left the company on not the greatest of terms.
The only real question is will he be "made" in the same way Foley was? Or will he be put over like Batista, the one guy who actually needed to win the feud and did so?

Bryan'll beat the crap out of Triple H until being taken down by interference from Orton or whoever plus other blatant cheating, allowing Triple H to barely get the win, and a bunch of people will scream BERRIED anyway.

I don't know about the promos part, Tunney had his own special gift for neverending oration. Furthermore, I suggest this matter be reviewed at a later date. Nevertheless, I believe it is quite possible... that Tunney has given promos up to and exceeding lengths equivalent to... those given by Hunter Hearst Helmsley... relative to the length of the average promo of their day.

I honestly believe, if HHH and Daniel Bryan have a match on PPV, Bryan will make him tap out. Me too. Triple H turning heel is a great start. He was never a heel against Punk, and he hands down should've been in order to validate Punk's points. Since he did the right thing and turned heel, it makes me think that they'll do this right, and that includes Bryan beating Triple H.
