He's got no shortage of great matches but if you had to pick ONE....no runner-ups, no honorable mentions....just ONE match to show Christian at his absolute best, what would it be?

The last match in his series with Orton if we are talking singles.
TLC2 if multi man matches count.

My favorite was the night he defended the title against Orton. Does that count?

Christian & Del Rio was far from his best match in-ring in my opinion but it certainly provided a career moment mixed in with a solid match.

My favorite was the night he defended the title against Orton. Does that count? The SummerSlam match? Yeah, that one was probably their best one.

Vs. Orton at Over The Limit.
I feel I am a better person for having witnessed that match.

The best thing about Christian is he's been in so many 4+ star matches in all different kinds of matches in TNA and WWE its impossible to choose one. But I love the TLC match at WM-Xseven the most. One on one it might be Del Rio vs. Christian at ER2011 just for the moment. Like it wasn't the best match of his career but it was the best moment of his career so I can't say yes to anyone else. I was just so f***ing happy one of my all time favorite moments ever. Plus Osama died a few mins later which is proof good things happen when Christian wins a world championship

I always enjoyed his feud with Edge when they first broke up. I think they had quite a good ladder match at something like 'No Mercy' for the IC title, back when it still meant something. Edge won, but it was showing for the first time what they could do as singles.
I love the Del Rio ladder as well as everyone else too, though more for the spectacle of him winning. I've never wanted someone to win so bad. And the first/2nd TLC and the T.I.T ladder match are still amongst my favourites ever.

Nothing beats WM 17. If we limit it to just singles matches though it becomes A LOT tougher. I'm surprised no one has mentioned his TNA work yet. IIRC his match with Samoa Joe that main evented a PPV was particularly good. Also, IIRC he had some good matches with Angle there too. Christian's run as heel champion in TNA was his best singles run IMHO hands down.

My personal favorite Christian match was his ECW title defense against William Regal in England. Such an overlooked gem of a match.

Man, thanks for all the replies everyone. I'm surprised there was no generally consensus and so many different matches were suggested. It's tough since none of these really stand out from the others.
