My response to this was nothing but laughter. That should tell you something.

Given Man of Steel kinda sucked, and Batman is just the supporting character, anyway, I would be lying if I said I thought this was going to bother me any.

For some reason I was thinking of Ben Stiller. So it's better than that at least.

Reguardless of whose playing Bats, I feel like doing a crossover this early reeks of desperation in the wake of lukewarm to bad reviews. The movie still grossed 9 figures, which tends to mean you get another chance at a Superman-only movie (preferably one in which he battles Lex Luthor). I know it's odd (and almost sacrilegious) to bitch about a big screen, live action team up of Batman and Superman.....But something just doesn't seem right about it, at least at this juncture.

All the mental breakdowns are making me happy. I hope he goes and kills it. I am now actually kind of excited for this film because it will never be as bad as the fanboys are already claiming it will be. This will be one of the best social experiments ever.
As for WB not knowing how to make money, this is one of the smarter things they have done, Affleck has cachet with audiences.

While I did like Man of Steel, it definitely had problems. My hope for this is that Warner Bros. will have Nolan put Snyder on a tight leash this time, and irons out anything wonky in Goyer's script. If that happens, this movie will have no problem opening the door for a Justice League movie.

I don't really care, but it should have been Jason Statham. And I wish George Carlin was alive to play Alfred. I really can't see Statham in the batsuit unless they're going full bore Frank Miller with the character, and I'm kinda burned out with that take on him. I'm looking forward to Benny's approach.

Terrible decision. I like him a lot but he doesn't fit it in my opinion. I would have gone with an older Batman, probably Josh Brolin

Well, I said before I think he'd be great since, with a cowl on, he would look a lot like the Jim Lee drawn Bat, which they did use for the Frank Miller All Star Batman book. Plus, at least his fights are more interesting to me. Having Bale use "elbow-fu" most of the time in TDK rubbed me the wrong way.

Batman:You see, Clark, I like to pick up girls on the rebound from a disappointing relationship. They're much more in need of solace and they're fairly open to suggestion. And, I use that to f*** them some place very uncomfortable.
Superman: What, like the back of the Batmobile?

Batman: Every once in a while we encounter each other. We argue, go back and forth and it's a sight to see. But you know what the best part of my day is? For about ten seconds, from when I enter the Batcave and when I check surveillance on the Batcomputer, 'cause I think, maybe I'll check it and I'll look for you on Earth and you won't be here. No goodbye. No see you later. No nothing. You just left. I know a lot of things, but I especially know that. Superman: That's... really mean. Batman: I know. I really don't like you.

I like this. Better than the casting speculation I've read.

HAH, a movie podcast actually told me on Facebook that I am wrong for supporting this and that the movie will never happen.

it should have been Jason Statham. I'm picturing it and it just doesn't feel right to me.
