Ultimate Warrior and Brutus Beefcake vs. Rick Rude and Mr. Perfect was supposed to happen at house shows but due to Brutus' parasailing accident, he was replaced by Kerry Von Erich. And dig Warrior's odd facepaint in the promo below.
And here's Andre the Giant doing a little Ravishing hip swivel.

The Smoking Gunns vs. The Rock 'n' Roll Express happened at a WWF stadium show in Austria in 1994.

The original Hart Foundation (the Hitman and the Anvil) vs. the Undertaker and Dude Love happened in Oman less than two weeks before the Montreal Screwjob.

Me again. Ha.
Strange indeed. Randy Savage and The Undertaker vs. Ric Flair and The Berzerker happened at a TV taping in 1992. (The same taping where Shawn and Bret had the first ever WWF ladder match, btw.)

IRS subbing for Sid in a cage match against Shawn Michaels.
I for one didn't know Undertaker and Hulk Hogan had a championship match in 1991 months before Survivor Series.

I for one didn't know Undertaker and Hulk Hogan had a championship match in 1991 months before Survivor Series. Is my memory failing me, or did Hogan NEVER get a clean win over Taker? I wonder how many people have that distinction of never losing clean to the golden goose. The only other person I can think of is Warrior.

I think all of these matchups qualify. Ha.

Clips of Randy Savage subbing for the Ultimate Warrior against the Undertaker. You know how, for the longest time, matches like Bret Hart vs. Tom Magee and the Last Battle of Atlanta were people's holy grails? Savage/Taker is mine. I've been fascinated with seeing it ever since I became aware of its existence. I hope one of these days they actually release it.

Clips of Randy Savage subbing for the Ultimate Warrior against the Undertaker. In 1991. While he was retired. If this wasn't released on the Randy Savage Unreleased DVD from a few years back, then...... well, how could they leave something like that out?? (I had this in hand a bit before the pandemic shutdowns began at a Walmart.......I remember googling a review of it, I think from Scott Keith's site, in the store and it was just a dismally-spiraling string of match reviews. Coming from a Macho mark like Keith, that's bad.)

Mr. T apparently ref'd a championship match between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage at a house show in Chicago in 1987. Here's T's promo. -

I'm guessing this has been posted before, but WWF Microphones on WCW programming. I remember watching this and noticing, and also a caller asked about it on JR's radio show.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but here's some promo interviews and some footage of an October 1986 Milwaukee House Show where Hulk Hogan teams with the Crusher to battle King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd - www.youtube.com/watch?v=tY1_RWvTtUg&t=1sHogan and Crusher would team up again the following March for a Denver show against Honky Tonk Man and Kamala, although in that case it looks like Crusher was a last minute replacement for Jake Roberts.
