The WWF World Title was [officially recognized, so no Ted DiBiase] held by a heel for only 822 days from May 1963 'til Survivor Series 1996, a possible 12,178 days.

A cage match between Jake Roberts and Akeem apparently main evented a house show in Pensacola, Florida on September 21st, 1990. Pretty random to me. Ha.

That match main evented a couple of house shows in September 1990. Akeem was apparently a last minute replacement for Bad News Brown. Jake and Akeem also had "Harlem Street Fights" around this time as well.

El Gigantes final match was in Japan in 1995 teaming with Koji Kitao taking on the wacky team of Typhoon and Mr Shinja who was Akio Sato wresting in Japan as his WWF manager gimmick. Gonzales even speaks English which is something that I’ve never heard. youtu.be/Y9cQzbjg23g

I hope Quake told Typhoon "Stiff him once for me!" before that match.

They were 100% building up a Savage-Backlund feud, for the record. They'd had multiple confrontations on Raw leading up to Savage's departure.

I’m imagining Savage giving a variation of his cream rises to the top line only to be met with Backlund going on a rant about the Boston tea party.

It’s still weird to me that Carlito vs Mankind happened Or that Jimmy Snuka got a PPV win in over Rob Conway and Tyson Tomko. Or that Goldust and Vader teamed up with Coach. Taboo Tuesday 2005 was weird as hell.

Well, it was WAR, Tenryu's post-SWS promotion... probably felt sorry for bringing him into wrestling to begin with.

Downloaded an old FOX Saturday morning tape off of Myspleen, at the beginning was an educational series aimed at young audiences about technology, and this episode was about WCW, with guest appearances from The Revolution.
During the end credits, Benoit puts the crossface on one of the kids.
Yeah, that aged well.

Stephanie McMahon's first appearance on WWF TV was trick or treating at Roddy Piper's on SNME in 1985.
Thanks to Wrestlecrap for that one.

Barry Windham as The Widow Maker: I'm such a mark for that guy. Widow Maker, 4 Horseman, Dusty's bff, whatever role he was good in it. Very cool thread btw.
