Hulk Hogan wrestled 3 times at a Hamburg TV taping January 14 1981. The first 2 were 1-on-2 handicap squashes. The third may have been the "dark match main event":
WWF Champion Bob Backlund & WWF IC Champion Pedro Morales d. Hulk Hogan & Stan Hansen by countout.
That's wild. Thought Bob & Pedro only teamed that one time at Shea. But, they've teamed up 6 times and went undefeated, including a win off of Inoki & Fujinami December 3, 1979.

Diesel faces Bob Backlund in a rematch from their MSG encounter at the 1/9/1995 Raw taping, aired internationally. To be honest, I preferred the 9 second encounter over this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFsUgd9jHRA

- Big Boss Man saying he'll be at Wrestlemania 9. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Either Prichard or Cornette recently confirmed that Bossman left in Jan-Feb 93 because he'd become convinced (right around when the steroid case charges were filed) that Vince was going to be found guilty & go to jail, and he wanted no part of the company (also he didn't want his own cop gimmick image tarnished elsewhere in the industry - and let's face it, in this wacky world of wrestling that was probably his prime concern). His sudden departure makes so much more sense now knowing this. They lured him back at the end of that year, he refed a Bret/JJ match at a house show, after he did work with All Japan that year, but I guess he was still wary of Vince's chances in court and ended up in WCW a few weeks later.

Where he showed up as The Boss (Man was he Big!?)

Derrick Lewis is a highly ranked UFC Heavyweight who once headlined an MSG card by fighting Daniel Cormier for the title. His first pro MMA opponent ever was Mitch from the Spirit Squad.

Just uploaded by WWE, a long-lost match from the vault: Rocky Maivia vs Razor Ramon *wink* from January 1997.

Rob Conway vs Greg Valentine from 2005: I always have time for a Greg Valentine match, the fact he has no time for Eugene interrupting his match is just icing on the cake.

Apparently, in 1989, Tom Magee vs. Ken Shamrock happened at a WWF house show.

Hogan v Flair at Superbrawl 1999. Okay I knew it happened but I didn't know it got such a huge buyrate. It got a 1.15 buyrate, the third highest in WCW history behind Starrcade 97 and 98. A week earlier the WWF had St. Valentine's Day Massacre with the first Austin/Vince PPV match and it got a 1.21 buyrate so the millionth Hogan/Flair match wasn't far away from matching the biggest feud in wrestling history at it's peak.
The narrative over the years has been that the fingerpoke of doom was the point of no return for WCW but here they were the next month doing massive business. If they just had Goldberg kill all of the NWO members one by one before getting the title back from Hogan in the summer I don't think the fingerpoke would have done as much, if any, long-term damage.

WCW was stale but still WCW in early 1999. It was a hot product that only seemed weak compared to the WWF. It was around Uncensored in March where everything imploded from creative to presentation.
