one of the things Trent? needs to worry about is that with an injury like that is a possibly of dislocating again because its easier to do now Definitely. It seems that Trent's suffered a very similar injury to his knee that I experienced when I was in high school. I dislocated my knee cap(It almost did a 180 degree rotation to the back of my knee)and severely hyper-extended both my patella tendon in my left knee; my quad playing soccer. I was in a brace and crutches for about a month and a half, did rehab for 2 months, and didn't feel my knee was strong for about 6 months after my injury. That injury was over 6 years ago and my knee is still f***ed. Sometimes when I walk, my knee is mere millimeters from exploding again and I have to stop myself for a second to prevent that. Also, I've fallen a sleep; a few times depending on how I've positioned my body in my bed, my knee slides out of position. When I move or wake up, it snaps back into place and it hurts like a motherf***er. I wish Trent the best of luck and a speedy recovery because these types of injuries suck.

Okay, I'd already pre-ordered ELEVEN but that preview video made me want to do so again. Seriously, for a show I thought was going to be relatively forgotten in the build towards BOLA, it has surprised me a lot in how awesome it sounds and looks. Cannot wait for the DVDs to start shipping. Hopefully the process goes a bit quicker than usual.

My housemate just suggested this but as Ricardo has been released maybe PWG would be a good fit for him? Although decent in ring he isn't great, but I would love to see him as a comedy PPray esc type act. I think he would fit in really well

Why does everyone want ex WWE guys clogging up PWG? Ricardo? Ricardo? In the company that tries to put on classic matches every match...and you want Ricardo?
I like him, and he is fun and all...and I hope he succeeds in whatever venture he is heading to...but no...

By no means do I view him as a good individual talent and I wouldn't want him anywhere near the top of the card, but I think he is a fun talent and would be a great addition to the comedy 6 man tags curtain jerkers that PWG is known for.

Ricardo would be (no pun intended) local.
If I were PWG, I'd give him (or Chimaera) a shot. Six man tags with PPRay and the like seems like a perfect fit to be honest.

Clearly in the minority here, but I thought Roddy's promo was great - and I say that as somebody who has always thought he should never be allowed to talk.

I get the desire to see ex-WWE guys branch out and I don't want to seem like a snob who rejects these workers just because of the last company they worked for, but PWG is about providing the best possible matches between the best workers from different companies who normally cannot work together. It's not a charity company that is there to give everyone a fair shake. Plus, even the prelim teams like PPRay and RockNES are capable of ridiculous moves and are athletic enough to keep up with the rest of the roster.

Since the general consensus seems to be "WWE Guys suck and can't wrestle because they're homogenized and lame and need more seasoning so they can actually become worth watching" where do you suggest they go to actually become a "good worker"?

Since the general consensus seems to be "WWE Guys suck and can't wrestle because they're homogenized and lame and need more seasoning so they can actually become worth watching" where do you suggest they go to actually become a "good worker"? I did not say this at all, nor did anyone else here, so I'm not sure where the quotation marks come from. Ex-WWE guys do plenty well on the independent scene, especially the year after they get fired. There are companies we talk about here like PWG, ROH, CZW, etc. but there are THOUSANDS more places around the country where guys like Chris Masters and Carlito still make a good living. But, again, I never said Rodriguez or Curt Hawkins was bad. They're just not as conducive* to this one specific company. The entire wrestling world does not need to revolve around WWE. *I think even a guy like Brian Kendrick, who I adore and has been to PWG plenty of times, sticks out like a sore thumb now, though the ELEVEN match could be great.
