well then lets make some more teams. here are the active wrestlers not currently in a tag team:
- Anthony Nese - Chris Hero - Johnny Gargano - Kyle O'Reilly - Roderick Strong - Tommaso Ciampa
now given their longevity in indy wrestling, i'd pair Hero & Strong together, and Nese & Ciampa seem like they'd be a good fit as well as O'Reilly & Gargano together. so now all they need are names.
for Hero & Strong, i've got two possibilities:
1. The Insiders. Hero is tall like Nash and Strong likes to party like Hall (though not to the same excess), and they are longtime staples of indy wrestling, the fans of which frequent sites like the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider to get "inside" knowledge
2. The Brothority. they both have locker room authority due to their veteran status, and Strong is a bro, bro.

Nese/Ciampa = Full-Bodied/Full-Built Italians
Gargano/O'Reilly = Reseda Stretching Crew
Hero/Strong = Bros of Wrestling/OhnoBros/FRS ONE

Alternatively, and more blatantly: "The Indysiders."

I know we all want MCMG back, but I have no doubt Kazarian will be back. Former 2x champ, he was plugging PWG as recently as last year

so with the birth of Kevin Steen's daughter today, would anyone else be interested in Excalibur coming out of retirement and facing her as a way to avenge his loss to baby Owen?

On the latest DVD release Excalibur said Willie Mack proposed the idea of being a black Super Dragon. Donning the mask & all.
3 questions: If Dragon never comes back, should the gimmick continue? Who'd be most suited or benefit the most from it? And lastly, wouldn't Mack be the 2nd black Super Dragon?

I think it'd be cool if the Super Dragon gimmick continued, then again, I'm a big fan of legacy characters in general.
Hm, my gut instinct is this is something Steen can cause to happen after Mount has run it's course. Mocking his old enemy one last time, Steen dons the mask again and starts wrestling as Super Dragon II. Eventually leading to somebody coming in as another Super Dragon to take down Steen and avenge him disgracing Super Dragon's legacy. With the note that this second, mysterious, Super Dragon is somebody SD handpicked to succeed him or (in kayfabe) was trained by Dragon.
As for who would be under the hood...It's a gamble, but I say somebody completely new. I think it would be a disservice to the gimmick, and the performer, if you stuck somebody on the current roster under the mask. For one, I doubt the name would stick, people would still call them by their old name and the performer wouldn't disappear behind the gimmick, it'd always be "Oh, there's X in the Super Dragon mask". It'd be like when they made Samuray the new Octagón. Yeah, he didn't have the gimmick for long, but people still saw him as Samuray, rather than Octagon.
And, then there's the aspect that if you put somebody already established in the mask...people are going to crap on it. Sure, there will be some that do that with someone new too, but not to that degree. The second you put someone established in there, it becomes a divide amongst the fans. Fans who want X to just be themselves, fans who are bitter about some other guy not getting it, fans upset that that guy got it.
Someone completely new can become the gimmick, rather than being the guy that wrestles in the SD mask now, there's a better chance they can become Super Dragon. Or, who people consider Super Dragon. Easier for them to make it their own and slip out from the mighty shadow of the original.

So...speaking of Super Dragon?
What happened between Dino Winwood and PWG? He always seems so mad about it. >_>

How many backbreakers would it take for Cage to just pop like a balloon?

How many backbreakers would it take for Cage to just pop like a balloon? I'm picturing some sort of "finger poke of doom" moment with Brian Cage where someone pokes him in the chest and he actually explodes Mortal Kombat style.

That leaves 1 more match to announce (unless they do 9). Hoping for at least 1 big name (Shelley/Sabin/Daniels/Kaz/Styles/anybody)
Assuming Elgin's not there. Is Hero booked elsewhere?

I thought the next show after was! Oh I really really hope they add just one more with a return or two. Please! Let's send this card over the edge! Also do you guys think they will name it One Hundred and Fifty to go along with Ninety Nine and One Hundred?

It would never happen, but I'd love to see Scott Lost v. Chris Bosh. I need to see the Boshitron 5000 wrestle at least once.
