What exactly did Elgin do anyway? As ROH champion, he lost clean to Trevor Lee in the first round of this year's BOLA. That's it. Oh lmao... that doesn't seem so bad to me. Like personally I see ROH Elgin and PWG Elgin as basically two separate entities. Always assumed most fans saw it the same way and noone would hold a loss Elgin takes in PWG against his ROH self. Damn.

Damn. it was a second round match, not a first round (though it was his first match of the night), and it was generally just bad booking. Elgin was in the finals of the previous two BOLAs and was just two months into his run as ROH World Champion, and he got jobbed out to a newcomer who hasn't done anything of note outside of PWG. had it A) been a semifinal match where Elgin's loss could have been written off in kayfabe with "it was his second match of the night", B) Elgin lost to a more established wrestler (pretty much any other wrestler that advances to the semifinals), or C) Trevor Lee gone on to the finals instead of losing in the semifinals, his loss would have been received a lot better

They basically want to make sure their champs aren't going to look bad and this is how they plan on finding out.

Untitled II was goddamn great, by the way. So much fun watching, even though it felt like the fans were burned out during the main event, with all the awesome that preceded it.

Has there always been two slots spare on the roster page next to Yuma at the bottom? I am sure there used to be only one space next to him, it looks like to me that they have removed someone but I can't figure out who....

Remember when ROH were allowed to use Shelley/Sabin for a rematch against the Briscoes and had to end it in a DQ because Dixie said so?

I received my 5 for 40 today. Sold Our Soul for Rock N' Roll was a pretty good show and while I'm not too far into the Super Dragon DVD, it is really good. Other than the CZW stuff, I haven't seen much of his stuff outside of PWG so it is quite interesting to watch early Super Dragon.

Trent? tweeted that he's out for Black Cole Sun. Continuing issues with his knee are the reason. Damn. For f*** sake

looks like the "Trent?" gimmick is taking over. pretty soon all the match announcements are going to be like "At the next show, The African-American Wolves vs. Chuck Taylor &...Trent? If not, Johnny Gargano"

He's missing this weekend's Beyond shows, and while I am bummed to not see him, I'd rather see him get to 100% and not risk any further time off.

I didn't want that post to come over as anger towards him, more disappointment that he won't be back as soon as expected. 100% healthy Trent? eventually is sure as hell better than no better at all When is Andrew Everett supposed to be fully recovered again? I think he would be great for a replacement and a surprise return

I miss trent? so much. He really added a lot to the PWG/indie scene after leaving WWE. He just had that vibe that made everything fun. Plus he's got awesome shirts.

For all you Trevor Lee marks out there, here is a new video from BDWJ1986 (a great channel for wrestler related countdowns/move tribute) showcasing the Top 40 Moves of Trevor Lee BAYBAY!
Would love to see him bust out Orange Crush on the apron in PWG. I think someone like ACH could sell it brilliantly and it would be an original apron spot for PWG (and PWG has a lot of apron spots...). Over the shoulder spinning sideslam would also be nice to see
I have mentioned wanting Lee/Ricochet and Lee/ACH in the past. But I really hope Lee vs Sydal is in the cards for 2015 at some point. Because of Sydal's incredible selling (and moveset) and because of Lee's badass moveset of grapples/strikes/high flying/mushroom stomps and crossbody moonsaults it would make for an unbelievable match up from my view.
Really hope Sydal brings back his magnificent corkscrew plancha (half fosbury flop) at BCS, if there is any match to do it, it is that one. Man that tag match will be insane, can't wait for that PWG Title math and the fatal 4 way especially

looks like them Young Bucks are itchin' to get coal in their stockings. got my Black Friday order from Highspots today, and inside the package was a Happy Holidays card from Highspots, and on the cover is a drawing of the Bucks superkicking Santa Claus for a "Santa Kick Party". i don't think Mr. Kringle would take to kindly to that.

I wonder if they will announce Trents? replacement on the show at this point...one full week left to do so if not.
This maybe Nation's last show, if all the reports are correct about him being a top priority to get signed by WWE. Its just another case of PWG getting them in too late to truly get something out of them, a similar situation to Kalisto. At least both guys had at least a couple of shows for the company before signing (if this is the case with Nation), better than nothing at all...

Tommaso Ciampa tweeted that he's taking bookings for 2015. I think he's under ROH contract... Ciampa and Taven are champs at two of the the local indys i frequent so its good that they'll still be available. Id read that Ciampa said he had to reassure promoters that he is still taking bookings.
