I think it has the potential to be his best title reign ever. The guy has improved SO MUCH since he beat that Canadian guy at SummerSlam all those years ago. Ever as recently as his last WWE Title Reign I just got a bad taste in my mouth thinking of the guy. Now though he almost always puts on at least good matches and the company is playing his strengths by letting HHH do a lot of the mic work. Okay, they could definitely use someone else doing most of the mic work for him (maybe Vince could appear more often?), but still a Nu Corporation is an intriguing stable and Orton functions well at it's centerpiece.

It's his most interesting, mostly because of the guy chasing it though.

The best Orton title reign is like the best kick in the balls you've received, none of them are inherently memorable but trying to recall any of them just makes you grimace.

I agree with most of his title reigns, but this one seems like it could be neat and has been pretty much so far. No matter what anyone thinks of him it is really tough to deny the guy has improved tremendously since he was first giving a chance at taking the ball and running with it. Also, there is FINALLY a main event feud in WWE where the heel is getting booed and the face is getting cheered

I can't remember any of the previous reigns, other than that time Batista carried him on his shoulders before Evolution murdered him

I can't remember any of the previous reigns, other than that time Batista carried him on his shoulders before Evolution murdered him I even forgot about that one. Also struggle trying to recall a lot of 2009, seeing as the WWE belt just seem to bounce around the place like a puck on an air-hockey table- it felt like every other week Orton was recapturing the belt. Jesus, that whole Summer/Guest-Host/Endless Legacy vs Cena/DX stuff was the absolute pits; the 'E looked so woeful for hyping an array of fringe celebrities, and the core product was so stiff in its utter staleness.

Though then that might've just been because in 2009 I hadn't yet had my ability to be optimistic about WWE broken by December 2010, the Corre, or the Summer of Nash.

Let's see...there was when he beat Bob Holly at Summerslam 2004, there was when he fought Triple H for the title fifty times at No Mercy 2007, there was...um....uh....was he champion when he molested Stephanie in 2009?
I'll just say yes because the story has been interesting so far, although I did like the win when he was in Evolution even though it was more for storyline purposes/sticking it to Brock Lesnar instead of trying to make Orton the face of the company. I guess this is Triple H's kayfabe way to make up for that.

Orton ticks all the boxes - good worker, great look, serviceable on the mic (HHH will make up for that over the coming months) - but the simple fact that he's been around for about a million years (in TV terms) cancels all that out and then some. There's literally nothing left I want to see the guy involved with.

I legit can't remember a single one of Orton's title reigns, even though I know I was watching through at least several of them.
So, uh, I guess this is one of the better ones, since it isn't agonizingly dull?

This is a good reign because you care about who's chasing the title.
We're so used to rolling our eyes as people like Cena and Sheamus chase titles that when it's something different it actually works like it is supposed to, where you want to see the face get the big win.
Unfortunately it only really works once. A few years from now Bryan will have won the title from Orton (probably won and lost it a few times) and even though most people will probably still like Bryan, it won't be the same.

It has to be better than his 2009 reigns. IT HAS TO BE.

it could be his best, as this has been the most motivated he has been in a long time.

Has potential to be his best one. Even if Cena was chasing the title it still has the potential to be his best for the storyline alone and HHH Heel turn

I remember each kick in the balls pretty damn well. Especially the one that resulted in my having surgery. I guess that was my equivalent of Orton's first reign.

It's probably his best so far. The one with Legacy was decent, but this one has way more going for it.

I'm into it so far but... I think that is largely due to Bryan.
If it was Sheamus or Ziggler or ADR or anyone else in the Bryan role, It would probably be as dull and forgettable as Orton's other reigns.

probably his best by virtue of being the first one that feels consequential. Orton has the same problem as Edge, he's had tonnes of title reigns but I'm hard-pressed to remember how any of them went.

Well, there was the one reign where he....and how can I forget about the other where he... Damn, I can't remember any of them really. This one has the potential to be the longest and most drawn out and boring one yet though. Anytime you have heel Triple H involved it is guaranteed to put me to sleep. I think heel Orton is equally as boring to be honest. I'd rather watch the weeds grow than watch either one in this mess. Just my opinion here.
