The synopsis confirms, as we’ve been reporting, that the box set will be 12 discs on DVD and 10 discs on Blu-ray. It also affirms the “greatest episodes” theme of the release and divulges 5 matches you can expect to see from episodes included on there.

The 20 Greatest Episodes Uncut Unedited. WWE presents the Raw 20th Anniversary Collection, a 12 DVD set packaged in a deluxe digipak. Includes 20 of the greatest episodes in full on DVD for the first time. Featuring classic matches and moments including Lita vs. Victoria in a Steel Cage Match, Undertaker, Triple H & Shane McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock & Mr McMahon with Special Guest Referee Shawn Michaels, The Rock vs. Mankind in a No Disqualifications Match for the WWE Championship, Rob Van Dam vs. Santino, CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy and much much more.

- Undertaker, Triple H & Shane McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock & Mr. McMahon (May 10, 1999)

Other highlights of this Raw include Sable vs. Debra in a Bra & Panties Match for the Women’s Championship, and Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco vs. The Mean Street Posse.

- The Rock vs. Mankind (January 4, 1999)

Other highlights of this Raw include Triple H vs. Mankind, Road Dogg vs. Al Snow for the Hardcore Championship, and Kane vs. Gerald Brisco & Pat Patterson.

- RVD vs. Santino (December 10, 2007 – 15th Anniversary)

Other highlights of this Raw include Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito in a Ladder Match, Batista, Triple H & Ric Flair vs. Randy Orton, Edge, & Umaga, and a 15-Man Legends Battle Royal.

- CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy

Without any further details it cannot yet be confirmed whether this is the 2008 King of the Ring episode (April 21, 2008) or the 2009 Draft episode (April 13, 2009).

I'd have to imagine the episode with 123 Kid beating Razor and Jannetty winning the IC title from HBK will be included. Wouldn't be surprised if the first ECW invasion from 1997 is on there either, since it also included the return of the Road Warriors.

I seem to recall the 15th anniversary Raw being complete garbage. I might be getting it confused with one of the other anniversary episodes but I'm wanting to say I thought that one sucked.

Edit: Looked up the results and... Yeah. At least the Jeff Hardy / Carlito ladder match is decent and I'm wanting to say the Vince beatdown at the end and the Kennedy / Janetty match were alright, but the show does have a Khali / Hornswoggle match.

I'd rather it wasn't, seeing as they just released it on video in its entirety last year. I think there's an argument for Homecoming due to its rarity (at least stateside) but I think it'd be kind of a waste to put Raw 1000 on this when they just put it on the Raw 100 set. I would say the same thing for Raw X, as it's readily available.

I'm personally hoping for the episode where Punk cashes in his MITB on Edge. That episode was so fun! Plus it kicked off the RAW is Anarchy angle.

I want the 4/21/97, 9/22/97, 8/24/98, 7/22/02, and 12/29/03 episodes at the very least included. Plus WWE better have paid off AC/DC for 8/24/98!

Seriously though I would have rather had Raw Roulette from 2002 over 2003. TLC 4, Booker T vs Big Show in a Steel Cage, Al Snow vs Test in a fun Street Fight, William Regal vs Goldust in a Showgirls match which showed why Regal is the Mr Bean of wrestling. That show was just so much fun to watch, minus that thing at the end.
