Perfect timing for me, I wanted something to keep me occupied until the Starbound beta releases and I had been eyeing up Risk of Rain for a while now, 20% off? Good enough, I'll take it. Oh btw, it's pretty fun too.

Sleeping Dogs is very good - and also a good PC conversion.

A PSA since its on daily: Dark Souls' PC port is a buggy, broken, unoptimized mess. With that said, there is a patch called DSFix that actually makes it playable (though you'll still have to deal with screen tear and uneven framerates). Just know that before buying.

Just a thought, but we should probably just change the title to an all purpose pc gaming thread.
For everyone who isn't aware, Good Old Games (gog.com) just started their Winter Sale. Not interested in buying anything? Well, swing by the site and pickup Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for the low low price of free. If they don't work on your computer, you've got 30 days to return them and get your money back.

Just signed up, and got 7 other games for free, which I guess is something they do? Still though, 10 games free for signing up is pretty sweet.

I got a bunch of free games too when I signed up there last year. I signed up last year to get Duke Nukem 3D for free... even though I still had my disc and then I later bought it on Steam anyway. I don't know why I wasn't thinking but I never thought to snag the free Fallout games. I still have 1 and 2 on disc though.

Apparently Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance should be showing up on Steam "Any day now". Hopefully it's a success so they'll be more interested in putting MGS V on PC.

How do I go about getting Fallout for free? Do I have to sign up for the site? yes Thanks. Seems the offer's expired anyway. Says it's $3.99 now and googling it leads me to a news item on their website that 404's on clicking on it. Shame. EDIT: Expired at 1:59 today. Ballsack.

Yo, just a heads up for anyone who doesn't know: There's only a day left on the Humble Jumbo Bundle, with Sanctum 1 and 2, Orcs Must Die 1 and 2, Magicka and some DLCs, Natural Selection 2, Garry's Mod, Cities in Motion 2, and Serious Sam 3. The average is sitting at $4.28 right now, so that's quite a few good games for a cheap lunch.

Looking at what I've been playing lately or picked up recently.
- Tomb Raider (I love goons. If you gift someone a game then they'll always counter gift) - Borderlands 2 (As above. I just got gifted this randomly by someone on my friend list) - Marvel Heroes (Actually just started playing it. I'm enjoying running around as Luke Cage as the founder of the League of Angry Black Man - Binding of Isaac (Beat it long ago but I generally pick it up every so often and play through) - Mount & Blade Warband (Just started playing it again after a long hiatus) - Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod (This is amazing and everyone should be playing it) - Long Live the Queen (This is a surprisingly good game) - Crusader Kings II (Another mainstay. Been playing as a Zorastrasian Irish lord for kicks) - Rayman Legends (Oh god this game is so good and pretty and runs fantastically on my computer) - XCOM Enemy Within (Punch Aliens everyday) - Rogue Legacy (I enjoy this but I'm probably not going to play the New Game plus mode since enemies scale horribly in it) - Zafehouse: Diaries (It's pretty fun. I tried lets playing it once but life got in the way plus I get distracted easily)

Have you beaten FTL? Are you enjoying being outdoors and communicating in person with other humans for the first time in weeks? Well I certainly hope not.
It's okay. I didn't really want to live life anyways.

Steam ID is KillFriskey if anybody cares. Computer doesn't have much power, although I can play some games, including Half-Life 2 which I got gifted a couple years ago when it was on sale for $5.
