The Prime Time Players. It would be a nice little subversion to play off of the Darren Young hype by having him be one of HHH's golden boys. HHH: It was my idea to turn Darren gay, because it's GOOD FOR BUSINESS.

Horrible booking choice. Instead of making somebody they have an instant main eventer, bring in an outside guy the audience knows nothing of and wouldn't be worth it.
I think whomeer wwe uses as bryan's backup will be the most over guy in wwe.
Using Ryback as the ddp to Daniel Bryan's lex luger would be great. Fans loved ryback destroying everybody.

I agree that WWE should use this angle to GET someone over, but not to make them an instant main eventer. That would just take away from Bryan when the whole point of the storyline is to make HIM a main eventer. I get it. You like Ryback. I have my Fave guys that I want to get pushed too, and I'd like them to have some role in this angle, but I don't want to see them go HAM on the Shield and steal the spotlight in what's supposed to be Daniel Bryan's storyline.

Oh no
I would have them actively try to recruit ryback and del rio at the same time. Even helping del rio retain at night of champions. Leading to del rio helping orton beat dbry.
I would have HHH use Ryback to "punish" their opposition. But have shield always costing him the win by dq when he is either winning or when there is a break in action.
Like eventually it gets to him. But he attacks the shield and del rio arrives and shield take out ryback
They could use just about any heel in that scenario really.
I would then transition to del rio/ryback and bryan/orton.
2 different programs, with same bit players

The fact that DB's backup will be instantly over would have been a good reason to bring in AJ Styles, who yes IS known. TNA is small time, but not THAT small time. That's the best thing they could have done with him. An instant impact. Get him over as quickly as possible. Ryback is best suited as an enforcer heel. Fans seemed to get bored with his Goldberg ripoff routine pretty quickly, and rightly so. The last thing they need to do is divert this feud by trying to rebuild Ryback as a face. It's too late for that. The damage has been done. And Ryback vs Alberto? Oh dear. No....just.....no

You must be a Cena fan Well the Shane McMahon idea can't be any worse than the thrilling prospect of Alberto vs Ryback, so that's something positive at least. Indeed. God forbid they sign good wrestlers.

Big Show, as long as he wears the Attitude Era[TM] Bossman outfit to fit in with those Shield fellows.
Not an imitation piece to fit show, the same outfit, rips and tears and all.

Huge fan of cena
And wwe already has tons of great wrestlers both on the main roster and nxt.
They could plug anybody into the spot of saving bryan and gettig them over.
Miz, Ziggler, and show have shown zero backbone and are red herrings
If say rey mysterio returns to save bryan, get his revenge on shield for taking him out, and then be a rep of the small guys wwe has never believed in, but broke through would be perfect to back up bryan.
Too bad about his knees though.

I could see
HHH--the Mentor (Ole Anderson in the Horsemen/Ric Flair in Evolution) Orton--The Champion (Flair/HHH) Shield (New Backup) Barrett--The Rising Star (Whindham/Orton) Either Ryback or Big E (or perhaps a returning Mason Ryan)as The Big Man (Sid/Batista)
I also see an alliance with either/or Paul Heyman (most likely, as it would draw Punk into the Main Storyline to stand beside Bryan against the Evolu-Corporation) and Bray Wyatt and the Family.

Thought so
That's why it's important not to waste that spot, and give it to someone who needs the rub it will bring.
Mysterio's already over. He could show up and immediately get a pop.

I would have mysterio show up later.
Heck from a money making stand point you use somebody who the audience would believe as a guy capeable of handing out beatings
If only Big E Langston was a face

HHH needs a couple of stooges like Ryder and Hawkins or something that volunteer to join the Corporation and HHH keeps asking them to prove themselves which ultimately leads to them taking massive ass kickings for a while before HHH is done with them and Pedigrees them back to job town.

Repackage tons of funk as goofy heel security guards and you've got even more meat in the faction. Sheild can control them and also use The Miz as a mole.

Barrett, Big E., and Miz. Especially Miz, considering the fact that A)He's a terrible babyface, and B)If anyone on the roster is the definition of WWE's ideal line-towing yes-man, it's that guy.

I had assumed Hunner wasn't turning and it'd be a Vince-led group with Orton, The Shield, Maddox, Miz and Barrett anyway.
Since they're now the Hunner Administration, I'd still have Miz join, just so he'd be Vince's boy and the other side of the corporate-approved face Orton represents. Barrett could also pal around too, not caring about the Hunner Administration one way or another but Vince (or whoever) would get in his ear and promise to give him the best seat in the house for DBD's demise.
I best see ADR, assuming he gets involved at all, to be the Token Evil Teammate on DBD's' side. I think it would work for him to be very resentful of the perceived snub he got from the Hunner Administration.
