Please?
He's really over and it's been a long time. I know it won't be for a while, but after all this Aces8s/MEM stuff clears up, I want to see Joe get a big push to the title. Maybe he needs to be in better shape, doesn't bother me. As long as he can go 15-20 minutes for a big title match.
Roode is the ideal heel champion, to me Joe is the ideal face champion for TNA.

You'll get no argument from me. The belt should revolve around AJ, Joe, Roode, Aries at this point.

Absolutely, I'd love to see Joe have another run as champ....he was booked like crap during his last run, which made him look like a fluke champion from the second he won it (even though he was destroying guys).....Joe should already be an Established Main Eventer by now...the fact that he isn't is just one more way TNA has failed its "originals" over the years.

Absolutely yes. I know looks are important to some people but Joe can still put on great, long matches and is agile as f*** for his size. He's great and, since they've gone on the road, has shown how over he is. If AJ indeed goes on to unseat Bully at BFG I imagine he'll have a relatively long run with the belt but come the end of that run, I'd like to see Joe beat him for it. Just because Joe and AJ have had really good feuds in the past and their feud over the World Title would be gold to me, the matches wouldn't be too shabby either!

He gets himself in a little better shape to where he was back when he first showed up and I'm on board.

If/when this Hogan-Bischoff expirement finally ends TNA needs to push their home grown stars back to the forefront; Joe, AJ, Christopher Daniels, Roode, and some others. If Angle cleans up and comes back to TNA I would not mind seeing a renewal of their old feud from when Joe first joined TNA.

Dude looks and acts completely unmotivated. That's not a surprise considering how they handled him and how he handled his weight but he doesn't seem fresh at all!

You just made me realize Joe hasn't been TNA Champion since 2008. Jesus.
I think the 'not in shape' thing is overblown. He looks alright these days, and he can still go in the ring like he always could. So yes, he absolutely should get another title reign.

I'd love to know where this whole "unmotivated" thing came from. Every time Joe is on telly I pay attention because I know I'm gonna get something good. I wish I was as "unmotivated" as Joe.

Joe certainly seemsa lot more motivated these days so I would be absolutely fine with him having another title run in the future. Honestly I would of loved if he was the one who won the BFG series & ended up facing Ray for the title. That match is kinda a dream match for me & I feel they could put on a tremendous match, while also continuing the Aces & 8's vs Mafia story.

I would love to see Joe have a reign that would eventually end with an Aries fued. Or possibly against Sabin if he actually learns how to do promos better.

Only if Joe gets some sort of character development beyond "guy that used to have great matches and still has good matches" I get the feeling that we're going to get tons of respect/best in the world feuds in the future and while the matches will be top notch those types of feuds are typically lame.

Joe seemed "unmotivated" during the waning days of Russo's time as head booker/writer/whatever he was. Pretty good reason, too: he was booked like utter crap during that time, and that, combined with his injuries at the time, probably took a toll on him psychologically.
One of the best things the new team under guys like Lagana did was rehabilitate Joe's image. They started simply, by having him and Magnus randomly pair together and win the Tag belts, have good matches, then have a solid feud later. They had him make the semifinals of last year's BFG Series. They made it clear that Joe was an upper echelon asskicker who'd only lose cleanly to main eventers. Joe's responded to that by getting back into better shape (face it guys, he was in his mid-20's back in 2003, he's not going to look like that again) and having solid matches.
Frankly, I'd love to see Joe pushed squarely back into the World Title scene, and not have to suffer through him being in a crappy angle. I remember so vividly how badly he was booked in 2008, how it killed the crowd for him...yet the crowd would be right back on his side as soon as the bell rang and he showed why he was the best at that point.
Great thing about a potential World Champion Joe? Dude can work great as a face or heel. Total flexibility on that.

Absolutely.
I also dug when he made the TV title important for a bit last year before it got absorbed in the Aces and Eights feud.

As others have said, it almost shocked me when I realized the last time Joe was champion was 2008. Holy hell.
Yeah, I think he should get a run at the strap. In a perfect world, AJ, Aries, Daniels, Roode, Joe, Storm, and Ray would be the top guys in the company. With Daniels and Ray acting as the veterans, getting short reigns here or there as transitional pieces and acting as the gatekeepers to the main event against younger talent. While AJ, Aries, Storm, Roode and Joe are the centerpieces, being the main ones to trade the title between them and taking turns being the top dog.
