Okay, here's the scenario. Your the booker and that insane old Vince McMahon just loves him some Nash. He orders you to put the title on him sometime between 2002 and 2004 during his run there. How do yo do it? Can you make chicken salad out of chicken shit?

He beats The Rock at Summerslam when Shawn Michaels interferes and tasers The Rock. nWo conquers Raw and with this Triple H and Brock Lesnar turn face, well in Brock's case more tweener as long as Triple H and Taker stay out of his way. Scott Steiner and Chuck Palumbo join the nWo and attack Hunter and Taker.

He beats Trips for the belt after interference from Booker T in a shocker during Backlash 2003. Trips is mad Flair didn't stop Booker T and splits from Flair.
Nash and Trips then fight to a no contest at Judgment Day thanks to Flair's interference
On the Flair tribute Raw (5/19/03), Flair beats Nash for the belt after Trips double-interference weirdness.
Shenanigans ensue to strip Flair of the title for some reason.
GM Steve Austin announced a 16-man roster-wide tournament for the belt with the finals taking place within Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood.
Trips and Nash meet in the Cell, and Trips wins.
This gives the belt the credibility of being given to a champion after a tournament, makes the most of Nash and Flair at the time, and allows each of them to play to their strengths.

This has to be the WHC, there's no option for him with the WWE title, at least in the sense that I would want to watch. Outside of maybe taking the title off Hogan instead of Undertaker, which still sounds like it would suck, although I believe he had a bicep injury at the time.

Nash returns during the 2003 Rumble to Diesel music - kinda like in 2011. Except, this time he wins the match.
HHH & him feud for the coming months until Wrestlemania. HHH calls Nash old-time, says he doesn't have it anymore & being Diesel is only him pretending he's still got it. Nash proves him wrong at Wrestlemania by winning the title clean.
The reign lasts until Summerslam when he loses to Chris Jericho while HHH is off feuding with Goldberg.

He wins the title in Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood, and loses it at Smmerslam to Goldberg in the Elimination chamber. Easy, but logical. You get the title from HHH to Goldberg while still saving the one on one match.

Only if they revisit the finger poke of doom with this time Nash poking Hogan.

He wins it at a PPV.
Relinquishes it the next night on RAW due to quad injury.

Kevin wins the title at Bad Blood, then loses it to Foley in a tuxedo match on the next Raw. Then Foley loses it to Goldberg on the next Raw in a triple threat pudding wrestling match after Goldberg pins Zach Gowen. Goldberg then loses to Gowen and Nash in a series of non-title matchs before HHH beats Goldberg for the title on the go-home Raw before Summerslam.
And WWE becomes the toast of pop culture.

When you say '04 you mean year 2104 correct? Because I wouldn't book a Nash title reign that ends before then.
