Bryan could easily recruit Slater, since HHH seems to enjoy belittling him (and everyone, face or heel regardless) in public.

Imagine the pop you could get if in the middle of a brawl, they all pulled out the Nexus armbands and put them on. It'd be a magic moment. I could actually see this happening. The scenario is Bryan has done something to piss HHH & co. off once again and instead of making everyone on the stage just watch HHH instructs them to go down to the ring and help The Shield beat Bryan up. In the middle of it all the Nexus members move in front of Bryan and then the armbands go on as D-Bry rises behind them and they then fight* off the heels, Shield, HHH and Orton to stand tall at the end of the show. * - when Nexus forms the faces bail feigning terror leaving the heels to fend for themselves. It makes the other faces look a little cowardly but I could see WWE booking this.

Cena was a member of the Nexus against his own will, so it would be pretty absurd for him to be all "YEAH! NEXUS!" even if it was a face version of them.

Not really the same thing since the Wolfpac were a group that were feuding with the Hollywood NWO. You're right, it's not EXACTLY the same thing. BUT it's a man selling out previous principles and even siding with someone they don't like (WADE in this scenario) to defeat someone they hate more. In fact it makes more sense then I realized when I posted that as a goof.

Oh my God this is where it's going. Wade Barrett's going to lead a group of thugs to join Triple H to take on the world.
You can call them the corre-peration.
