I don't remember "The Baron" (Von Raschke) doing anything in the WWF aside from that one managerial appearance with the Powers of Pain on PPV. (I don't have old episodes of Superstars, so I may be mistaken.)

Baron was there a little longer than that, made a few appearances.
Almost said Crowbar for his televised WWE tryout match, but pretty sure he'd been around before as Devon Storm.
Did Akebono make any WWE appearances outside of Wrestlemania?

Akebono's only WWE appearance was Wrestlemania which of course kicked off his pro wrestling career in Japan.

Nailz, as "the Convict" at Slamboree '93.
Several of the Legends at that event only wrestled the one match for WCW, such as Nick Bockwinkel, Dory Funk Jr, Jim Brunzell.
Someone already mentioned George Steele in WCW, Jimmy Snuka and Tito Santana also wrestled Jeff Jarrett that night. Snuka had wrestled in Mid-Atlantic and Georgia prior to it being WCW but that doesn't really count.

Jake appeared at Heat Wave 1997 and then teamed with Dreamer at a later November to Remember.

Kerry Von Erich in ECW (during the Eastern Championship Wrestling days of the company) Kurt Angle in ECW during ECW's original run. "Thank you Teddy Hart for ruining our show!"

Some I can think of... CM Punk wrestling Justice Pain in CZW I think Low Ki only appeared in CZW once (when he was taken away by a security who held him like a child) Ricky Steamboat teasing a heel turn in the early days of TNA No, Low-Ki had a long fued with Ric Blade in CZW. Let's see: Atsushi Onita & Tarzan Goto had one time ECW spots.

I believe his last appearance was with that security guard though right?

Ki & Blade were having matches and run-ins on each other at that time in not only CZW but in other promotions in New Jersey, too. That incident with the security happened on March 18, 2000 and yeah, it was his last appearance.

Bruce and Keith Hart-Survivor Series 93. I also heard that Kevin Von Erich had a tryout match for the wwf in 1990 or 91.

Hiroshi Tanahashi in TNA. He had that match against AJ at Final Resolution 2006 then came back in October 2008 teaming with Volador, Jr. for a few months
