He'd be plenty humiliated by Bryan winning the belt back. He doesn't necessarily need to tap to a Yes Lock. I don't think either of those things would really humiliate him anywhere near the way people want to see top heels humiliated. That's always been Hunter's thing; face or heel, he loses plenty of his big PPV matches, but he always looks like a badass while doing so. If he wants to become the new Mr. McMahon, sooner or later he's going to have to transition to being the guy who begs for his life and pisses his pants.

I'm going to be optimistic with this one and say yes.
I don't think he'll go full-blown ridiculous with it like Vince does, but I think in the end he will get the shit thoroughly kicked out of him.

Everybody will get his comeuppance but Trips. He'll watch angrily his men get beat up and that's it.

Will this angle end with Triple H being humiliated to the satisfaction of the IWC hivemind in order to push Bryan do what's right for the business? Answers to this and many more questions can be yours by tuning in each and every week! Will this guy continue to push a gimmick that's beyond old in order to make him appear edgy and cool but achieves the exact opposite post in italics?

alternately, Show finally has enough of Hunner's BS and decks him, knocking him out.
Show: aw shit... I think he shit his pants. Bryan:phew... smells like he shit his pants EMT: he did shit his pants.

He'd be plenty humiliated by Bryan winning the belt back. He doesn't necessarily need to tap to a Yes Lock. Yes he does. He has to be humbled both physically and mentally. (but not Sheiky old country way). He has to be proven wrong and he needs to be defeated firsthand, too. Basically, everything this version of HHH stands for needs to be obliterated and disproven. HHH ain't an old man. Bryan tapping him too would mean more than Bryan just beating Orton. Doesn't the visual of someone he deemed second rate and a "B+" holding the world title obliterate everything he stands for regardless? I really don't see how it's somehow a missed opportunity if he doesn't take a conga line of face finishers.

I'm going to say no based on his history, but the only way for this story line to have a good pay off is if both Orton & HHH get what's coming to them. The way this story line is playing out so far has been way too one sided. The faces have to take a stand starting tomorrow or this is going to get extremely stale & boring. But based on rumors of HHH having creative influence on this, it's not surprising it's been extremely one sided so far.

Logic says yes.
History says no.
I'm gonna guess history wins out.

He's the face of Bryan's betrayal and criticism. He needs to be defeated, straight up, by the very man he deems unworthy -- to prove conclusively that he is wrong. This is not only accomplished by Bryan beating the handpicked Champion, but by symbolically and literally breaking the man who masterminded it all. HHH just went toe to toe with Lesnar recently. He's still a threat. And he needs to be beaten on all fronts to cement Bryan's legacy.

First HHH as a heel had been beaten up and humbled many times (Foley, Austin, The Rock, Orton back in '04 etc) and when the time comes I've no doubt that he'll take one from Bryan.

No
Which is my big fear for the feud. Triple H's ego is going to stop the feud developing and having a satisfactory conclusion. I can't see Trips showing any fear towards Bryan let alone getting humiliated and humbled at the end.

I think that HHH often gets a bad rap, and people buy into all of the rumors about him far too easily, but that said, no way will Bryan beat his ass or pin him or anything. Bryan is going to need help to neutralize the Corporation and get a fair match, so that help will come from a top guy, I would guess most likely Vince somehow. At which point HHH becomes fixated on that guy and transitions to feuding with him while Bryan feuds with Orton until Cena makes his way back to plant the flag of the CeNation in everyone's ass.
