As long as they stick to the basic Jurassic Park concepts of survival, lack of respect for nature, and corporate greed, they'll be OK
If they try shoehorn references and themes like drones, terrorism, surveillance etc....into it, it will be awful.

I am fully expecting several dinosaurs to play volleyball with that transparent bubble car.

There doesn't seem to be a Muldoon/Temba type great White Hunter. Too bad, they were my favorite characters from the movies.

Let's hope the kids dont drag this film down like they did with all they other ones. Yet even with the kids I want to see this movie so bad now!

OK. That was pretty damn good.
Something about seeing Hammond's vision come to fruition really panged my heart in a way I didn't anticipate. But also left a sense of looming dread knowing it never ends well. People are crapping all over the hybrid thing but I think its cool. Its the fourth film of a horror/sciFi franchise film and honestly it parallel's how I feel unchecked genetic manipulation would proceed in the real world as well, especilly in the hands of corporations.
But yeah, this trailer definitely drew me in more than I thought it would. I had pretty low expectations, aside from the director.
Also having Judy Greer being the first face you see really helped win me over.

I couldn't have been the only one that laughed at the final shot of the trailer, right?

I like the idea of the hybrid because a big point of the book was that the failings on the Park were because InGen didn't quite understand how the Dinos would act. This is kind of the next step in that it's "okay we know how the dinos act, so we can control new ones"

Nice trailer and I loved the sea world section although the logistics of that I am not going to think about. Needs more Goldblum (or other slightly amusing character actor) It looks cool but I don't get how they are controlling the dinosaurs, I mean we can't even control Tigers, Lions, Rhinos etc.. in real world Zoos so getting a Peloton of Velociraptors (Do Dinosaurs have collective nouns? I'm claiming this one if they don't ) to follow Star Lord on a bike is stretching things a bit too much for me.

I'm sorry Chris Pratt, you are good and all, but you are no Jeff Goldblum.
