Bold move putting MITB 2011 at #2. It was very good though. They had to put a modern era show high on the list. otherwise it would look like they were saying the Modern Era doesn't hold up to the past.

No Way Out 2009 strikes me as the only ghastly omission. Otherwise, while Bad Blood 2004 might have become a great stand-alone show, the booking going into it was pretty horrible. Kind of surprised at the 10 spot for Survivor Series '95. Do any of you feel that strongly about it? I'm pleasantly surprised to hear GAB '96 is held in such high regard. I always thought it wasn't a bad show, but I never knew it was universally liked. Yeah, it holds up incredible well and is probably considered the best of the WCW-era WCW PPVs (Halloween Havoc '96 is often in contention with it as well). I think the only thing marring GAB '96 is that the main event is far and away the worst thing on the show. It's not particularly bad by any stretch of the imagination, but absolutely every other match exceeded so many expectation that it's an odd note to go out on.

I think the problem with SS 2002 is that it came during a time when business was trending down and I don't especially have any fondness for the show. Let me go through the list:
#15 - WWF Survivor Series 1995 (A quality show but not remotely one of the 15 best PPVs of all time.) #14 - ECW Heat Wave '98 (One of the best ECW shows ever. Interesting to put this on here.) #13 - WWE Backlash 2009 (What the hell is this doing on here? I had to look it up to even remember it. Get it off here pronto.) #12 - WCW Bash At The Beach 1996 (I'd have GAB 96 on here as well, they go together perfectly.) #11 - WWE Extreme Rules 2012 (Not sure I've seen this show but it sounds solid. Top 15 ever though?) #10 - WWF In Your House: Canadian Stampede (Great show, best 2 hour PPV ever.) #9 - WWF No Way Out 2001 (Interesting pick here. The Rumble 01/No Way Out 01/WM 17 trifecta are the Holy Trinity of that era.) #8 - ECW One Night Stand 2005 (Great show, more of a show based on nostalgia and ambiance than overall great matches.) #7 - WWE SummerSlam 2013 (The ending of this PPV alone should DQ it from ever being on this list.) #6 - WCW Great American Bash 1989 (Had to be on here but I'm not as fond of it as others. I mean Sting/Muta has a screwy finish, as does Steamboat/Luger.) #5 - WWF WrestleMania III (I honestly thought this might be #1.) #4 - WCW Spring Stampede 1994 (Huh?? It's a decent show, but what makes it any better than Slamboree 1994 that followed? I'd say Stampede 99 is better.) #3 - WWF Royal Rumble 2000 (Good PPV but I'd say Backlash 2000 was better.) #2 - WWE Money In The Bank 2011 (Might be a bit early to put this so high but it was a tremendous show.) #1 - WWF WrestleMania XVII (Probably the best Attitude Era PPV, though the ending sent business tanking downward.)
No honorable mention for Summerslam 1992?

I'm glad Backlash 09 made this list; I've always felt it's underrated as a show.
Awesome theme, great matches, MUCH better than the 24th Anniversary of WrestleMania.

Money in the Bank 2011 is nowhere near the second best PPV of all time, but at least they got the top one right.
Though the lack of WrestleMania 19 is weird.

I'm dumbfounded WM XXIV got no mention, also No Mercy 02' was a very underrated PPV. Other than the Katie Vick crap, Lesnar/Taker Hell in a Cell and had still the best tag team match in the past 10 years in Mysterio/Edge vs. Angle/Benoit

I've got about 40 PPVs in my head that I'd like to mention but frankly for an all encompassing list this isn't missing much. Good job to whoever compiled it.

I am pleasantly surprised that they put WCW and ECW shows on the list. I can't complain about the list, although I'd have put last year's amazing Extreme Rules PPV even higher.

Apart from Summerslam 2013 ( which isn't bad but the main event dragged the show down and as such isn't a GREAT show) that list is pretty good. I've got about 40 PPVs in my head that I'd like to mention but frankly for an all encompassing list this isn't missing much. Good job to whoever compiled it. ...wut

Now to fix that post.

I continue to think WM 19 and WM 21 are vastly overrated.
I like to watch old PPVs and Mania wise, those two are near the bottom of the pile, obviously there are good matches on both but I'll watch most of the others straight through.
I'd rank 25 and 26 below them, but I'm not a fan of 19's undercard and 21's main events.
(Obviously with 19 I don't consider HBK/Y2J or Austin/Rock undercard)

No Survivor Series 2002? That was an incredible show. Not a single bad match, even with the divas match.
I'm glad Backlash 2000 got some love, that Malenko/Scotty match was brilliant. The fans all expected filler or for it to end after The Worm and instead it keeps going and going and ends on that killer top-rope brainbuster/DDT. Great match.

I fully expected to tear apart the list but... it's not half bad. Agreed. They got the top 3 right, at least.

where's Royal Rumble 1992 and Summerslam 1992 I agree. Summerslam '92 would probably be in my top two or three, at the very least. WM 17 is a good PPV, but the epitome of "over-rated," IMO.

Only thing I can complain about is the lack of WM 19 on the list or the honorable mentions.
Good list.

I'm the opposite. WM17 is by far and away my favourite PPV of all-time but to me Summerslam '92 is massively overrated. The Bret/Bulldog main event is an absolute classic and Savage/Warrior is decent (although a little overrated) the rest of the card was mediocre at best.
