Tonight marks a decade since the Brock Lesnar - Kurt Angle Iron Man Match aired on Smackdown. How did you feel about it at the time? How do you feel about it now?
I remember discussion a few years ago that it was going to be put uncut (ie. including the footage missed during the commercial breaks) on DVD at some point. Did that ever happen?

One of my favorites. I love the story of Brock conceiding a DQ fall after a chair shot in order to weaken Angle to win the biggah pictcha.

I thought it was great myself. I could watch this and the Rock/HHH Iron Man match and not feel like an hour has passed.

Best Iron-Man match ever. The fact that they trimmed some of the fat for TV worked out great, IMO.

I didn't like it at first. I always thought Bret/HBK set the standard for what an Ironman match should be, and thought Lesnar using the chair so much really cheapened the match. I love it a lot more in hindsight, have a better understanding that the two had a more personal, vitriol-driven feud than Bret/HBK and the strategy of sacrificing a DQ for some solid chairshots is pretty brilliant. The final countdown of the match is incredibly intense.

Personal favourite Ironman of all-time. Hated it as a kid though. I was desperate for Angle to win. Hated it when Lesnar won.

It was a great match.
I've always found it unfair to compare this and Benoit/HHH to all the other iron man matches though. Both of those were essentially 40 minute matches shown to the television audience and they had the advantage of having a lot of the "boring" parts cut out for commercials.

Best Iron Man match I've ever seen, and I loved the psychology of using the chair for a DQ loss but to wear your opponent out.

It always pissed me off that Angle lost, but it pissed me off more that this was the 2nd time Angle had lost the title on a free show.
It's still a great match, but it was bittersweet for me simply because it happened so suddenly.
