Given that the faces need to be let loose soon and if this is true, will we see the return of Commissioner Michaels?

I hope not. I love Shawn but he doesn't need to be involved.

I don't want Shawn involved. I really don't want any "big names" involved who could possibly hijack the story from Bryan. Once Shawn gets involved it will be all about how HHH and HBK used to be BESTEST FWENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
I don't understand why they fazed Miz and Ziggler out of the story. They were credible enough but not too big that they would steal Bryan's thunder.
Like I keep saying, I'm all for faces stepping up and helping Bryan, but they need to be guys who can rally around him and support him, not hold his hand and babysit him.
It feels like with Cena gone, WWE is pushing every panic button available to them, what with Edge, Goldust, and now HBK.
WWE should be elevating everyone to fill the massive void in talent they have. The upper midcard should be moving into the main event. The midcard should be moving up into the upper midcard. The lower card should be getting just a tiny bit more screen time, even if it's just on Superstars or Main Event. Everyone from Dolph Ziggler all the way down to JTG should be getting bumped up a level.

I hope not, as well. I think it would be a nice touch for a one night kind of deal, but I don't want big names dwarfing Bryan. I don't understand why they fazed Miz and Ziggler out of the story. They were credible enough but not too big that they would steal Bryan's thunder. Completely agree with this. Miz and Ziggler would have been good to pad out the storyline, without overshadowing Bryan yet they've pretty much disappeared.

At the moment they don't need Shawn, and he doesn't need them.
Let him enjoy doing his hunting show.

Ziggler's facing Ambrose at the PPV, so he's still involved with it and I really doubt they brought it Goldust for a ratings pop, it was probably a one off so they could keep Orton busy for a week/add more heat on him. As for Edge, he's back because he was there to hype Haven.

Is this going to lead to Hunner using a shovel to beat the shit out of HBK and get heat now?

We are a few months overdue for one of those promos where Shawn warns Triple H about what he's doing, but Trips says he's sure everything's OK, ultimately solving nothing.

and HBK will come out of retirement for one night only to end the wrestling career of Triple H in a dramatic WM30 main event, possibly with Taker as a special guest referee.
Bryan will face Heath Slater on the pre-show.

Sounds to me like the radio host was just making a guess.
I seriously doubt HBK will be involved in this storyline. And I certainly hope he won't be.

Shawn's best contribution to this would be to assume the role Jose Lothario played for him, but not as prominent. He fits in this, his best friend vs. the guy he trained (yeah yeah, I know others actually trained him, hush). He comes in, tries to talk some sense into his buddy, gets beat down for trying to save his pupil, cashes his paycheck and back to whatever else he's doing.

I'd love to see an interaction between HBK and Daniel Bryan.

HBK - "Listen Hunner, although I've been spending my time hunning, I still occasionally check out what's going on here. I don't think that you are treating Daniel Bryan right"
HHH - "Shawn, don't worry about Daniel Bryan. I know what's good for business, and you know what's good for hunning. Just stick to that"

If Shawn is the Jose Lothario I want Sid to make a special cameo just to break a camera on his back.
