I agree with you but the dude just main evented Raw, I don't think his push is a problem by any stretch.

I think his real skill is that he's a great actor. He just knows what facial expressions and posture to use in every situation, and he can deliver lines in a natural, believable way.
I'm in no hurry to see them push him to the top of the card though. Just keep him relevant, let him have more interactions and matches with top stars than the average midcarder, and then pull the trigger on the big push down the road when you have the right storyline/opponent.

What's interesting to me is how he's fixed so many of the problems I had with him before. I've always liked him, but I thought his facial expressions and selling were too over the top. The problem was that even with that they were awesome. Now he's toned them done to what is, in my opinion, the perfect level. When he gets beat on it looks like the most painful thing in the world, so when he goes back on offense and he's got this miserable scowl on you get this vibe he's ready to kill the dude for putting him through all that. It rules.

Someone please push him?? He's in one of the most dominant stables in the history of wrestling, is the United States champ and is major part of the main storyline of the entire company.
Yoshi Tatsu he ain't.

I think that's the main appeal of Ambrose. He's so good at getting across emotion and passion that I actually feel invested in matches I would normally never care about.
His facial expressions and OTT selling did bother me a bit to begin with, but I agree that he's toned them down to the perfect level that it's believable and still looks amazing.
But you can't really complain about his position right now. The Shield have been pretty dominant over the past (almost) year. Unless you mean as a singles wrestler? In which case, give it a few months and I'll agree.

I can't help but look at him either but my reasons are totally different than yours.
I think WWE struck gold with him. I actually didn't like him too much until I finally heard him cut a promo - the minute I heard Dean's voice, I was hooked. He's a natural on the mic and his in ring abilities are pretty good too. Not to mention he's incredibly nice to look at.

He's my favorite of the Shielf even though I like all three.

he's not unified champ and didn't squash Cena Orton and Sheamus on the same night, he's clearly been held down since the beggining!!!

Hopefully him getting a push results in the group breaking up.

I said it in a Raw thread a couple weeks ago, the guy just has the "it factor" to me.

I love Ambrose enough that I want them to NOT push him. I want a slow-burning, Steve Austin progression where in a couple of years the fans eventually make him a star instead of the bookers. Pushing him now would probably be premature and if he didn't get hugely over immediately he might get midcarded or shitcanned.

Yes, he's awesome. He's definitely made the most of all the opportunities he's gotten so far, whether it be on the mic or in the ring. As far as a push though, he's already getting a pretty good one.
