They're doing nothing! Yeah, wins here and there, but for what? The Kane feud was okay, but we all know if Undertaker had returned to team with Kane against the Wyatts, it would've been a much better match. The "Ring of Fire" was a let down, and Bray hasn't done anything since. The whole thing has gotten lost in the shuffle. Who's Sister Abigail? Will there be a pay-off to this? Will they get involved with the Corporation or something? Also their entrance with "We're here." is kind of old, especially since we already know that they're here. Also, it really irritates me how that video shows the lamp lit a bright orange, but he comes out to a cheap flashlight lamp. Plus, HE ALREADY BLEW THE LAMP OUT IN THE VIDEO. Okay, that's kind of a dumb gripe, but Wyatt needs to be more concrete. His confusing promos are cool, but he eventually needs to get to the point. So, what the hell happened? What should WWE do with them?

Really think they're holding back on the eventual Shield/Wyatt feud. So the Wyatts are sorta treading water.

They'll all end up being released by the end of the year. Stupid gimmick, medicore workers. I'm telling you, the candle is electric for a reason: symbolic falsety. The rocking chair is dull.Sister Abigail won't help. Masks are boring. Bray's finisher sucks as much as his tattos. Let's get moving on Sandow, Cesaro, and Langston instead.

Only The Buzzards know for sure.
I've never really understood the whole Lamp gripe, though. It's just a part of their TitanTron, if you think about it. No one really gripes about other wrestlers wearing different trunks, outfits, or what have you, then whatever it is they're wearing on their respective Trons.

Slowly building them up until the opportunity for them to do something big

I think the problem is rooted in WWE's "only the main event matters" mindset and their need to make everyone into "big deals". WWE only wants them to feud with main eventers, and since no "main event" talents are available at the moment, they're stuck. WWE will have them do squash matches but won't consider elevating any midcard faces for them to feud with.

That damn Daniel Bryan's beard is slightly shorter in the video than in real life! SCREW HIM! Joking aside, I still am irritated with the lamp. Can't they just change the color of the bulb? Is it that hard?

Sister Abigail is the name of the finish, pay attention.
Its a slow build, and theyre still introducing the character to the core audience (not everyone watches NXT, reads dirtsheets, and posts on message boards). Getting thrust into the main event scene is rare, and usually ends up hurting guys in the long run.
Jake Roberts is a legend ...and you can count on one hand the times he sniffed the top of the card, but no one can deny his impact on the company/business.
Im thinking, naturally from a marketing standpoint, that October will be a strong month for The Wyatt Family. That said just enough to keep the masses interested without overexposing them is just fine by me...and I love the gimmick.

I don't know why they don't just feud them with a midcarder or two. Have Santino get caught mocking them backstage, Bray and the family attack him, The Usos come to Santino's aid.
There we have it. Santino and The Usos vs The Wyatt family. A nice little feud, gives The Usos something to do and kills time until WWE come up with a big feud for the Wyatts rather than having them pointlessly beat opponents again and again.

Given that Bray set fire to his Dads shrimp boat and implies that his father was on it, I'm assuming Sister Abigail was a twisted Nun in charge of the orphanage Bray may have been sent to.

It's an awesome character, but it's hard to do too much because, in the end, it must all be resolved in a standard wrestling match.

Am I the only one concerned that once Wrestlemania season comes along, the Wyatt Family are going to be forgotten about and probably only seen on Superstars and Main Event?

The Wyatt's will be alright.
Their T-Shirts seem to be selling like hotcakes. (and fairplay to WWE on the Wyatt shirts, they finally learnt that people don't want those little taes on the front with the WWE logo)

There's no question that between 2007 and 2012 the midcard scene was severely damaged by the lack of storylines, unique characters and titles that meant anything.

I think they're doing pretty damn good considering they're still around and delivering brilliant promos and eventually leading to something.
That Sister Abigail promo sealed it for me that they are the best thing professional wrestling today.
The tie-in with history was astounding and I was just surprised by the Abigail Williams reference to chaos.
Yeah, I know, you all probably think Bryan in the main event is the best thing today. I don't...for reasons.

There's no question that between 2007 and 2012 the midcard scene was severely damaged by the lack of storylines, unique characters and titles that meant anything. during that period we had Kofi, the In Crowd, Evan Bourne, Santino Marella, Brian Kendrick, the Spirit Squad, Umaga, The Corre(The Nexus was put in the main, but the Corre was definately midcard), the Straight Edge Society, Dashing Cody Rhodes and later deranged, Zack Ryder, Drew McIntyre as Vince's chosen one winning the IC title, Jack Swagger with his soaring eagle, The New Breed. If a midcard feud isn't treated as as important as a main event feud then it isn't seen as important. But if it's as important as the main event feuds it isn't really a midcard feud is it?
