I'll never understand people's hatred of Iron Man matches. I think it's because of the fact that you know the match won't end until a certain amount of time has passed so it's hard to get emotionally invested in the rest of the match.

I'm sadly beginning to think less and less that Bryan is winning the title *For Real* at WrestleMania. Having back to back titles matches with Orton on two straight throwaway PPVs can't possibly be done again for the Main Event of Mania, and I don't think any of us are ever going to live to see the day that HHH would ever lay down for Bryan at a WrestleMania with the belt on the line.

I'm up for that. We know Bryan can do it and Randy seems to be in the best shape has been in years and has been working more and longer matches lately. I thought it would be Last Man Standing but this also works. Bryan went 75 minutes with Aries one time, and that's considered a classic by some. If there is anyone who can have a universally praised ironman match in WWE it's Bryan, even if the quality has been on and off in WWE since it's inception. Some people call that a classic? I love Bryan and Aries, they're two of my favourite ever wrestlers but that wasn't one of their best efforts. It felt like they were dragging it on and on and on just to get it to 75 minutes. There were a lot of lulls in that match. It wasn't terrible (which is an achievement in itself all things being considered) but it was far from a classic in my opinion.

Bryan Alvarez says the rumoured plans for Bryan vs. Orton at Battleground will be for it to be an Iron Man Match. Ah f*** that. Iron-man matches are trash.

I don't mind the rumored Iron Man match, but it would've been cool to see a new gimmick -- like a GLASS DOME match!

Maybe it's just me, but knowing I have a guaranteed hour of two of the best workers in the company going all out has me absolutely stoked to see this match, if that's what the stipulation ends up being. It's the same reason I'd rank Bret/Shawn in the top 10 of either man's career, whereas others seem rather lukewarm to it.

I'll never understand people's hatred of Iron Man matches. They're matches where essentially nothing matters. Only the last thirty seconds or so are remotely relevant just by their very nature.

Given the refund frenzy following NoC, I could see them scrapping the Iron Man stip, especially if their idea for doing it was to end DB-RKO in another draw/indecisive finish.

A cable company refunding PPVs out of their own pocket for a small group of people won't make WWE rethink their booking plans.

Do Big Show and Henry turn and become a team of monsters? Or do the PTPs turn and join the Corporation? I've said it before, but I think it would be a nice subverted way to play on Darren Young's hype by having him and Titus be HHH's golden boys.

Henry, who is due back any day now, returns as a heel loyal to Triple H and is paired with a reluctant Show to "teach The PTP a lesson"... or something like that.

Hopefully, next year and beyond, WWE will replace the HIAC PPV with Halloween Havoc

The Rhodes / Shield would be cool to see, but given the Usos thing I don't expect it to happen. More likely I would say would be Cody against Big Show, where Big Show keeps being given orders to hurt him more and more but in his protests eventually is beaten via fluke.

I can see Dusty becoming the mouthpiece for THE GOATBUSTERS at Survivor Series and demanding the match he created, WARGAMES!, against Triple H's BUSINESS BRIGADE. They could even combine the Survivor Series and WarGames concepts by doing an elimination match inside the double ring/cage.
6 vs. 6
Triple H/Lesnar/Ryback/Ambrose/Reigns/Rollins vs. Bryan/Punk/Show/Ziggler/Titus/Darren
Something like that would attract 500,000+ PPV buys if promoted correctly.

After the Night of Champions disaster, WWE needs to make Battleground a homerun show. Then, Hell in a Cell can be filler material, in preparation for Survivor Series.

I, for one, would already go out on a limb & say Bryan is winning the Royal Rumble next year. HHH gives him one last chance to prove himself worthy of getting the title & Bryan has to overcome the odds of 29 other men to do so. Maybe Brock could become the cooperate monster & win the title. Bryan having to overcome Lesnar as a final hurdle would be a very fitting end to the story ... until they do a rematch the month later at Extreme Rules.

With Night of Champions being a critical and commercial DUD -- and with the extremely disappointing SummerSlam number -- there is a lot of pressure to deliver with Battleground.
Like I said, they can treat Hell in a Cell a few weeks later as an experimental filler PPV, like last year.
