Vince just didn't want Daniel Bryan as WWE Champion. He got what he wanted thanks to HHH and we haven't seen Vinny Mac since the night after SS.
How long before he sees the error of what Steph and Trips are doing and steps in to correct his mistake in judgement? All these firings and random employee assaults can't be good for Vince's business...nor the lawsuits that could follow.
Bonus points in my eyes if Trips and Steph secretly bought enough stock to take majority control and fire Vince. The resulting comedic hi jinx where Vince and Daniel Bryan team up to take back the WWE and the WWE Title should be classic.

Even before Summerslam, Dave Meltzer has been saying that the endgame is for Vince McMahon to turn babyface leading into Wrestlemania.

Yup, I expect it the night after Battleground. Trips goes to fire a bunch of people and then "No Chance in Hell" plays putting an end to it.

I'm not sure if this is really going to happen or not yet. It could, but the build is nowhere in sight for it. We only think this going to happen because the dirt sheets reported, but they've already been proven wrong about certain scenarios regarding this angle. Also, they're plans can (and have) change on a dime, so I'm not predicting anything in the far future yet.

Since Trips is clearly going to be taking over someday and it would be nice to get a face win at 'Mania, Shouldn't Hunter somehow turn face?

Damn, I read this as "Vince is going to goat face" and I got excited because I love weird Vince phases. Crazy beard Vince is a welcome addition.

trying to turn Vince into the babyface authority figure whose out to save WWE from Trips just defies explanation. he's too good a heel and I just don't buy him suddenly making a 180. it'll take a LOT of convincing to get me on board. I know the guy's super-busy elsewhere, but I think it would've been awesome if this angle became about Shane returning and taking back his birthright from the Usurper Triple H. could you imagine the pop he'd get?

You know this storyline would be a lot better after this storyline The WWE Board of Directors said Screw you to HHH,Vince,Steph,Maddox,and Vicki and said they'll make a championship committee with this guy being the head of it
and the best part he comes out very sparingly is anyone up for that

I wouldn't mind an angle where they oust Vince, seize his fortune and assets and force him into becoming a Wrestler in order to get by financially. Book him in a match against the Shield and have Bryan save him. Vince reluctantly accepts an alliance and fights to get his company back with the people he once shunned.
