He literally brings nothing to the table any longer. He doesn't wrestle. He's not offering any great ideas to improve the product behind the scenes. The nostalgia has worn off substantially. I actually think the positives outweigh the negatives from a financial perspective.
My fear is that it's too little, too late. I fret for the company's future looking at this laundry list of people going out of door the last few months and the potential for others to follow suit.
I want TNA to succeed because it's good for the wrestling industry. The Monday Night Wars is the reason we were given the nWo and the Attitude Era. It's good for wrestling talent to be able to reinvent themselves somewhere else (Stunning Steve ---> Stone Cold) and it allows wrestlers to find more financial security if it's available (Ted Turner's bank account). The talent loses leverage if there's no viable options on the table for them other than working for Vince, go overseas or work for an indie promotions that pays a fraction of what they're making.

If he can't wrestle I don't see what he does for WWE in an on-camera role. The same stuff Bret, Dusty, Booker T, and Mick Foley do. Only Hogan would get a bigger pop.

After 2-3 months worth of special guest appearances, probably not. Lets face it, the WWE like to get their money's worth from non wrestlers so he'll be hanging around for a good long while and as his TNA stint has shown, a lot of the current audience has no attachment to him at all.

Hulk belongs in the E, but I don't see him wrestling. He deserves the biggest appreciation night of all time with no bullshit.
BTW, a few years ago on an episode of Hogan Knows Best, he was supposed to sign a 20 year deal or something with the E-now what was it for?

When he leaves, can we please have the six sided ring back?

He needs to leave. He contributes absolutely nothing now. He's expensive to keep around & he takes away a lot of TV time from the younger guys who need it. He hasn't brought the ratings up at all, since he's been there they actually been worse. Hogan doesn't draw anymore due to the fact that he can't wrestle anymore. I wouldn't mind him coming back to the WWE to make a few apperances a year, but not to be a regular on screen character anymore.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but he needs to be out of TNA.
When it was first announced that he was joining, I was worried. I thought "will he actually help build up the next generation or will he just put himself over everyone like he did in WCW?"
3 years later.....He put himself over everyone, he didn't wrestle (thank god!)...but every main event feud was either; all about him or involving him in some way.
I'm just grateful he never did put the TNA title on himself.

I won't get my hopes up, but it would be better for TNA in the long run.

If he can't wrestle I don't see what he does for WWE in an on-camera role. He'd be a perfect replacement for Lawler on commentary and interviewing guys. He gets to constantly be a part of every show without risking permanent paralyzation/death in the ring, plus he doesn't have to derail any major angles.

Hulkster is not going to play wallflower while interviewing someone in the ring and see how off the wall he's been when talking the last couple of months, I wouldn't trust him a live mic.

The WWE could definitely use Hogan. Maybe not every week, or even every month, but he is the biggest name in wrestling history, and as much as smarks want to ignore this reality, he is still popular. What role can he play in the WWE? Who knows. They have five hours of TV every week. I'm sure they can find 20 minutes here or there to put Hulk on television in a meaningful way.

Since the popular consensus is that Hulk needs to go back to WWE, TNA is going to re-sign him to a new contract.

Hogan is WWE, WWE is Hogan they belong together. Hogan may not be able to wrestle but he belongs in the WWE. I would give him Flairs new job since Hogan is a bigger name than Flair and understands the WWE a lot more than anyone else.

I am indifferent at this point to where he goes. I also am baffled why Sting/Undertaker is a dream match for people, when both are old and nothing about their styles seems like it'd be some kind of amazing match up.

Why do I feel like we're going to just end up with "Hulk Hogan, General Manager of Monday Night Raw"?

I would give him Flairs new job since Hogan is a bigger name than Flair and understands the WWE a lot more than anyone else. That, and Hogan doesn't get drunk and humiliate the company. I could see him in WWE as some kind of ambassador role or something. Or just to have Big Show punch him since he's a good friend of Show's. Either or.

I got my fingers crossed so tightly that he leaves.
Not only did Hogan take from the company, he also never gave back. The ONE thing he could have actually been good for is putting out the word to people about tna. But of course we couldn't have Hogan doing that because it makes too much sense.
I just hope this leads to Dixie realizing that name recognition doesn't mean jack shit, and that building up your own guys works. Maybe this will be like when the wwf lost Bret Hart(minus the screwjob).

In the next couple of months, TNA might very well be free of Hogans, Aces, and Eights.
It sounds too good to be true.
