Chalk me up as not a fan.
As others have stated, I'd rather see a match just "happen" to go 45-60 minutes, rather than the match being required to go 60 minutes.
You already know that an Iron Man match will go a full 60 minutes, that takes some of the surprise & excitement out of it.
Don't give a time limit, Let two talented guys go out & wrestle for 50 minutes & ppl would be surprised & impressed by the talent displayed in the ring. Thus, making the match a "true" battle story.

Don't see the point when you can just book a long match.

I'm fine with Ironman matches as long as I don't have to watch longer than final 2 minutes.
...yeah, not a fan.

Most people don't have the attention span to sit through an hour of the same 2 guys wrestling each other. Brock/Angle & Benoit/HHH were some of the lowest rated TV episodes in the history of wrestling because of that. People changed the channel to watch something else and turned it back minutes before the ending. A lot of people don't care about how long they can wrestle, they only care about who wins. They should keep these on PPVs where people are paying for them and don't do IM matches on free TV because it would be better business.
As for my opinion on IM Matches: Thumbs in the middle. It depends who's wrestling. I will never understand how they can give Rock & HHH (Who both have a limited move sets) an IM match.

It really can go both ways for me. I could put an Iron-Man match in both my favourite match - Angle/Brock - & least favourite - Cena/Orton.
I have a lot of faith in both Orton & Bryan to put on a quality match, should this be the stipulation. Bryan especially will likely excell in this situation - given he's probably been wanting to show off his skills for a long length of time & and the 60 minutes will give him just what he needs. I would expect him to break out moves he hasn't used in awhile such as the cattle mutilation.
I really don't get what an Iron-Man match has to do with the PPV name though, it's not really a chaotic type of match -- unless it's no DQ like the Cena/Orton one. I would much prefer they give them a stipulation like I Quit or Last Man Standing.

Though the PPV names are inherently meaningless these days even when they do carry a certain connotation like Extreme Rules (where half the matches weren't no DQ!); WWE could probably make a PPV called Booble Bobble Fruit Juice and it'd be a generic show you wouldn't remember half the card for a week later.
