It's been terrible for a long time. Very poorly produced. A lot of it sounds like some shitty song a 15 year old just learning chords would write.

There are very few bright spots, those being Bad Influence, Bobby Roode, and AJ Styles.

Hit and miss for me. Sometimes they knock it out of the part (Aces and 8s, Roode, Storm, Gail Kim, Abyss and Joey Park) but then there is stuff like the latest MEM or Aries that are so freaking bad I dread to think what they rejected.

I like Hogan's "NWO ripoff" theme.

Some of their themes are pretty good.
Sting, Roode, Angle, Storm, Styles to name a few.
Christian's first TNA theme was their best!

I like Hogan's "NWO ripoff" theme. It actually a remix of the NWO theme then a ripoff.

While it's actually better than it used to be (at one time EVERYONE had ripoff themes and it used to bother me because I could quickly tell what each was ripped off from just by ear), it's still awful.

Roode, Joseph Park, and Bad Influence have great themes. Styles and Storm have good themes. Everyone else ranges from meh to terrible.

To me, most their music just sounds hacky. Somehow they killed it with Joseph Park's theme though. Bad Influence's theme rocks too. One of my favorites is Samoa Joe's theme, but now he's got to use that AWFUL MEM theme that sounds like a mashup done by a tone-deaf person. Some of it is so bad I don't see how they were able to sign off on it for TV. Remember Kenny King's first theme? Sounded like a 13 year old trying to play a Jimi Hendrix song over a broken drum machine.

I hate to make the comparison, but TNA is awfully like WCW when it comes to theme music. Most of the main eventers have decent themes (e.g. AJ, Roode, Angle, Sting) but the majority of the roster have generic, forgettable, put-together-in-10-minutes guitar themes that quite frankly sound cheap.
Atleast with the WWE, unless you're a complete jobber they actually try and give you a decent theme. The likes of Curt Hawkins and Yoshi Tatsu have better entrance music than 80% of TNA's roster.

TNA has way too many generic,, nondescript theme songs. Austin Aries' theme doesn't fit his character. For someone whose flashy and bombastic, his theme is the opposite. Every time it plays, I still don't know who is coming out. Kenny King's first theme was a hodgepodge of surf music and random Casio keyboard notes. Mainly the blame for the music falls on Serg. While Dale Oliver followed the WCW method of using familiar songs for entrance themes, at least the themes would match the characters and you recognize the person coming out to the ring.

For every theme in TNA that is good and/or makes sense, there's about 10 or some indistinguishable themes that just don't work at all. Most will probably rank Bobby Roode's theme at the top, but it took a couple tries to get that right. Remember the crappy first version with the stupid Off the Chain lyrics?
It also doesn't help that Serge apparently is the only guy that does vocals for these themes. I suspect the reason they killed the lyrical version of Aces & Eights' theme is because it's really hard to portray them as outside rebels when they obviously had the same guy doing James Storm and all the other lyrical themes in the company.
But the worst has to be Chavo Guerrero's 10 second Casio keyboard loop. One minute of the thing on TV and you've heard the entire theme about eight times.

Too many sound like something I'd jam out on the basement keyboard that even I am embarrassed to let other people hear.

I like Bobby Roode's theme and that's it. I will say that most aren't particularly bad, just boring and generic. I can't even tell who's is who's most of the time.

The Main Event Mafia theme sounds terrible. It's grating on the ears. If they're called the Main Event Mafia, then why do they have a theme that is less than main event material?

there has been some good to great ones, abyss's original theme & samoa joe's theme (which like William regals theme was perfect for a no nonsense character.)
but then they have stuff like the terrible r.v.d. theme (I know he's left but it was probably the worst theme i'd heard)
