From what I read here, WWE is donating 20% of the SALES price, not the income. Maybe 80% of the costs go to making and marketing the shirts?

Even if it's only 20%, I can't bring myself to complain, as they could easily do what most companies do, and ignore the entire month and not give any money.

The Shield's shirts would be funny to see "pinkified"

Really should be a "Rise Above Cancer.......It's What's Best For Business" shirt.

I work for a cancer charity, every penny helps. 20% is nothing to sniff at.

Good thing Goldberg and his WHO'S NEXT tshirts are long gone.
Although technically it could be like "WHO'S NEXT.... TO RISE ABOVE CANCER" rather than the obvious

My favourite part of this is Henry smiling in the corner, he looks so happy that I can't help but smile too. I bet he was the sweetest biggest kid in Sunday School every week. He looks like he does one nice thing every day, and listens to his mother. I don't know why but when he's smiling and dressed up I think of going to Baptist church when I was little.

Yeah but that still means they're making a profit on it right? The companies that don't do anything at least aren't making money off of cancer and exploiting it for good-will purposes. Eh, I don't know, it's a weird one. Help is help, but it feels dirty.

From what I've understood about they way they're promoting it, instead of the entire month being a pink-out as it was last October, I believe tonight's Raw and Friday's SmackDown will be the only two shows in which the pink merchandise and breast cancer awareness will be heavily promoted.

They all look like they've signed up for Dan Hibiki's Saikyo-Ryuu fighting dojo.

How come they don't do a Rise Above HIV thing? Doesn't has the same ring to it.

As someone who's mother is currently kicking Breast cancer's ass I appreciate everything the WWE is doing in the month of October. This is all about promoting breast cancer awareness and anything that keeps breast cancer on people's minds is a good thing.
Even though my mother had to have a mastectomy and just got done with chemo, she's still alive today because of a routine mammogram. Bringing awareness can get other women to go see the doctor and save lives so I fully support this. 20% of all proceeds is better than nothing at all.

They need to do something with Goldust, maybe something like "You're the disease, and im the cure. Cobra, 1986" and then do some anti-cancer PSA.

The gamble of having a macho, male-orientated sport like wrestling suddenly turn everything pink and talking about breast cancer is pretty damn huge. Cancer charities will get a whole bunch of money they wouldn't normally get, and if it teaches little kids about cancer awareness, I really don't see the problem.

Oh if only they had this campaign back in 2004. Just picture the Gene Snitsky shirt:
"Cancer's not my fault, but treatment can be yours"

Some of the f***ing people in this thread. Good lord. You'd think WWE were actively creating new ways to give people cancer, instead of trying to raise money and awareness for the cause.
As someone who has had 4 different aunts get cancer, all of my mom's sisters, I think anything WWE does to help is incredible.

Well, WWE gives 20 percent of the proceeds to charity. Seems like they should recoup the manufacturing costs and give all of the profits to the charity.

I wonder if the pink ring rope will come back this year.
