Prevents him in storyline from getting any other job...what?
Like if they were making it that WWE was his dream, and losing that would devastate him, that'd still be a bit wonky but it'd be better than them going "A guy your size has to work here, no one would hire a really big guy anywhere else."

I'm still baffled as to where this whole "Big Show is broke" thing came from.

The "needing the job" story is so weak.

It really is lame. Big Show seems like quite a marketable fellow who could work many different TV and movie gigs. Too bad there are no other wrestling companies he could work for.

It really is bad. He's been a ruthless, sadistic heel in the past. When he wasn't broke. For fun. Why is he so conflicted about doing the corporations bidding? He used to be nWo muscle for crissakes!

Didn't Big Show break GM Kurt Angle's leg by throwing him off a high ledge in a parking lot?

Didn't Big Show break GM Kurt Angle's leg by throwing him off a high ledge in a parking lot? He teamed with Stephanie to beat on a one legged man.

"....then I realized I could never be a ballerina." I've got an issue of Moon Knight where he fights a mutant chick that controls Arctic winds. When it flashes back to her origin we see that the advent of her powers also made her 7 ft tall, and she couldn't be a ballerina and turned to evil. Maybe there's something to that for Show

Didn't Big Show break GM Kurt Angle's leg by throwing him off a high ledge in a parking lot? yes, but he was actually in the midst of a breakdown at the time, similar to one of his crying jags, at the time because he'd lost his job

What I want to know is how they expect us to believe that Big Show is out of money.
His net worth was 30mil last year. What kind of strip mall scheme did he invest in?
I mean damn.

I get that WWE Creative feels compelled to keep Big Show busy somehow, but ironically (I hope I'm using that right) Show's notoriety and general spot in the WWE pecking order makes him the wrong person to put in this angle.
I could buy someone like Ryder, Hawkins, JTG, or Riley crying and begging for his job, or Yoshi begging not to send him back to Japan because they'll beat him with shovels bo staves, because they have no leverage or other options. But the idea that Show can't just say f*** it, I'm gonna go make an IMPACT *wink wink* somewhere else is stupid.

If they revealed he put all his money in Hostess before it went under, maybe that could be believable. Especially since the ending of the Big Show storyline would be Show distracting HHH and Steph with a fruit pie's delicious fruit filling and flaky crust, thus defeating them.

I would actually love it if, during one of Stephanie's "Your family needs you to provide for them" speeches, Show takes a phone call, hangs up and says "That was Adam Sandler. Captain Insano's showing up in his next flick. Later, bitches."
