out of a scale of 1 to 10 its got to be a 2 as there is very little redeeming qualities with this character being played by an awful actress in Dixie as shes not really a performer

She needs a cougar gimmick(as some of you have said). Dixie should sometimes sit at a café like table set up right next to the announcing team. She comes out to Sex and the city type music and sips a cosmo while enjoying the man-meat in the ring.
I'm sure Tenay can butt in and say "Miss Carter, your behavior toward these athletes is high'y inappropriate!"

I just don't get why they even came up with this idea in the first place. What made them decide that they needed AJ to start feuding with management? I remember thinking that the whole point of him losing the three way match last year (where he couldn't get a title shot until BFG) was to have him be the big face of the company, win the BFG Series and beat Bully for the title. Now they have thrown in an authority figure and AJ seems to be feuding with her instead of Ray (have they even mention their title match yet?). If they really felt that they needed to have this AJ vs Dixie feud, then why couldn't they wait until after their biggest show of the year?

I'm not a huge fan of Dixie's delivery, she's not projecting enough of her voice, and she doesn't have a great cadence or timing, but at least the character makes sense, has somewhat legit claims/grievances and isn't humiliating the roster on a weekly basis. In short : the idea is good, the execution could easily be improved upon.

(but at least I'm curious about where they're going with that, and I'm not tempted to change the channel whenever she's starting to talk - the same can't be said about Steph & Trips droning promos)

If she's intentionally being over the top and delusional (which based on spoilers is a possibility) she's passable. If she's trying to be serious she's failing horribly.

I do like the basic idea of the angle but I don't know/think the execution will be there

Sometimes she shows glimpses of greatness. When she told AJ what was up was actually pretty good. If she's going to be on TV, she should continue with being El Heffe, a ruthless no nonsense boss that hates everyone (face and heel).
