Say they decide to write out a title, and WWE narrows it down to these two champions, with the loser's title gone. Which one are you pulling for? I'll say Curtis Axel, if only because he has some so bad it's good appeal, and I can think of things I do enjoy about him mostly relating to what a goofy idiot he comes off as in segments with Heyman. Alberto's just... ugh. Plus the Intercontinental title feels marginally more relevant than the World one, if only because at least even if he's a supporting player Axel's actually involved in an actual storyline and has flirted with the Corporation plot here and there.

Vacant beats them both in a Triple Threat.

Vacant beats them both in a Triple Threat. Well, that's the dream scenario, but sadly I think he's facing Big Show.

I quite like both guys, and don't really have a problem with either being a champion outside of some weak booking. But it would have to be Del Rio. He's just all around better.

Axel for the unintentional comedy he constantly creates.

At least Del Rio can put on a decent match. What's Axel good for, aside from being photoshop fodder?

I'd pull for Axel, because the IC title should always be with WWE.

LOL loving how it's at a dead heat right now.
Put me down in the Axel column, love that guy.

These guys could be fighting to determine whether I ever get laid again and I still couldn't be bothered to watch.

At least Del Rio can put on a decent match. What's Axel good for, aside from being photoshop fodder? On the flipside, most everyone on the roster can give us a good match, Mr. Axel included. But not all of them are hilarious. Curtis Axel is. I don't understand it, but I can't help but smile when he's on screen. Maybe I'm in love?

Axel is great. Dude loops around from being so awful that he's actually brilliant. Cracks me up on a weekly basis.
Del Rio can suck eggs.

I wish he wasn't IC Champ, but Axel's got this Wrestlecrap feel to him. He's not being presented as a main eventer or anything, he's literally just some poor schlub with a bunch of funny mannerisims. It's so bad, you can't help but laugh, and it's kinda entertaining watching him fail and be Heyman's new Heidenrich.
Del Rio, meh...we're supposed to take him seriously and he's just boring. Oh you have good matches, neato. Combine that with an entertaining gimmick then I'll switch my TV off mute when you come on screen.

I'm torn. I like Del Rio better, but I want to see the Intercontinental Title take its rightful place as the #2 title.
I'll pick Axel, because while I'm not too fond of him he can always drop the belt to a "name" like Ziggler or Miz or even Del Rio himself later down the line.

Del Rio, without question. I really don't get all of the hatred for him, unless it's simply resentment that he's been over-pushed. Yeah, he's boring sometimes.
But there are others on the roster (aside from Axel) who are more boring like Sheamus and Randy Orton (moreso as a babyface).
Del Rio's decent in the ring and a total natural at being a heel. He just has an evil look to his face, that even someone who isn't a fan, can see him and know that he's a "bad guy".
Axel is just a boring hunk of nothingness with terrible facial hair.

Axel. Why? Because: 1-SHAH! 2-in his corner, HE'S THE PAUL HEYMAN!

I wonder where this thread came from? I kinda wish that once they abolish the World Title that they make Big Gold the WWE Title Belt. That will never happen. A WCW belt would never be the top prize in the WWE. However, I'd be all for them merging the WHC & IC & having Big Gold becoming the new IC belt.
