I'm onto you. I know who you really are. You're Beetlejuice. I knew it! You're not gonna get me to say your name two more times. I do like Lydia Deetz. Live action or animated?

Yep, though I think it's only in the Director's Cut. Coincidentally, I also thought this scene was hilarious because it just comes out of nowhere and they never reference it again. Then again, I thought the entire movie was really funny. Like a really dark comedy. William Friedkin kind of felt the same way about the scene. He didn't think it really fit with the rest of the movie and he cut it for the theatrical release, citing that the wires used with the performer of the stunt were visible as his reason for the cut. Later he used modern day special effects to remove the wires and re-inserted the scene because author/producer/screenwriter William Peter Blatty really wanted it in the film. I agree that it sort of seems out of nowhere and doesn't really fit with the rest of the film.

Regan's spider-walking around and licking her mom's ankles. It gave me the creeps, just picturing it. Wish they could have gotten that in the movie, unless they did somewhere with the reissues and stuff.

I don't see the problem with Wyatt falling. What was he supposed to do? Walk around like that for the rest of the match? Doing a weird spider walk and then falling down all fits within the insanity of his character.

It looked fine to me...what was he going to do once he got close to Kofi anyway?

I think it was supposed to be. What else is he supposed to do? Kofi could just poke him in the eyes.
Regardless, creepy as hell.

I think it was minor slip up too. Seemed like he started walking too fast, but a recovery so good it saved it.

Not having watched the PPV< how did the announcers react to it? With a "What on earth was that?" Coincidentally, I also thought this scene was hilarious because it just comes out of nowhere and they never reference it again. Then again, I thought the entire movie was really funny. Like a really dark comedy. William Friedkin kind of felt the same way about the scene. I agree that it sort of seems out of nowhere and doesn't really fit with the rest of the film. The actual reason they cut it out was that they felt that it was scarier with her mother not knowing when she'd leave the room and start attacking people.
